Mexican Riviera July 20, 08...Hola Amigos

Hi all! First time posting on this thread. Eeyorelvr10 - I see that you went on the July 23rd 2005 cruise. We did too! I know we all had a meet in the lounge. Your screen name is very familiar...do you recall the excursions you did on that cruise? We did a beach creak in PV and went with Randi's horses on Stone Island (my son calls it MazatLAND..never fails to crack me up). Anyway, I am going to subscribe to this thread now that we are officially at the 1 year point.

This will be our 3rd cruise for my family: myself, DH, our DD (who will be turing 11 on the day we disembark) and DS (8).

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Squirrelgirl

Welcome :cool1: Squirrelgirl

So tell us what dining do you have and cabin # so I can put it on the first page. :dance3:

Welcome Squirrelgirl! Just thought I'd check in and bump us a little.
Hey Robin I see that you never changed our info on page one, my age will be 46 and my wifes will be 45 at the time of the cruise. Our children will not be with us. Also we just got an upgrade to Cat 7, and our stateroom will be 5140. We are still on the 2nd dinning. Thank you!
Hope everyones summer is going well. It's been very busy at Disneyland... too busy! Just so that ya'll know, I'm not working at the Monorail anymore, just too many drama "queens" up there. I asked to be moved back down to Autopia or Buzz. Maybe start working at Nemo, not sure yet. Well take care everyone.:surfweb:

Hi Vern....the info has been corrected and congrats on your upgrade:thumbsup2
So how is it driving the monorail in new colors? We will be back again ver NYE will you be working?

Less than a year for the cruise but is not cming fast enough for me.

Seems everyone has been busy because no one around visiting this thread:confused3

I am still keeping a watchful eye...:thumbsup2

Welcome Squirrelgirl!:cool1:

I just booked our rooms for Disneyland the week before the cruise!:woohoo:

We are coming in over a week early to do disneyland, sea world, san diego zoo, universal, and a tour.   :yay: :dance3: :yay:

Anyone have any advice on the closest and best airport to port? Where exactly is the Port of Los Angeles?

Have to go to a meeting today. :scared: I start back to work next week. My summer went WAY too fast:eek: :scared1:

Hope everyone is enjoying those last days of summer with your kids!

Thx Robin, you're a real trouper for keeping this thread up! Thx for the compliment...........my DDs wanted to go back and after our trip to the Med this summer we decided to do another Mexican trip....I just read this whole thread so I'm up to date with everything.

I'm thinking about maybe staying in Santa Monica or going back to DL when we go next summer.............we stayed in SM a few years ago and I don't think we got to see everything we wanted to see. My youngest will have graduated from high school next summer so we'll be celebrating!!!:cloud9:

I'm sorry you won't be on the ship, but we'll get it ready for you!!

Wow your yongest is graduating...how old is your oldest? never mind I just looked... you were smart and started young. We have a 10 and 13 y.o and I am 49 almost 50 and DH is 53.

As for getting the ship ready for me...be sure to save me some food and leave me some Martinis...okay at least leave the Martinis:rotfl2:

So whay made you choose this date to go back? is it the same time last time that you went? I would have gone on this date but when we booke it as a back to back the one we picked for pts was this date so would have had to pay more it ...well lets just say it is a long story:lmao:

My son starts Highschool 3 days after we return. He only has 1 month off next summer due to school changes. So in that month he will be home only 1 week because the rest of the time we will be vacationing.

Hope that turns out not to be to much for him.:confused3

Will be fun for me:woohoo:

Sorry I was delirious when I wrote that, my youngest will graduate high school next year!! I was young when I had them all, I'll be 46 next summer and all my three girls will be grown up!:scared1:

My sleep patterns are still screwy, hopefully, I'll be back on track this week!:rotfl:

I chose the week for our cruise b/c my middle DD will be back from study abroad in late June and my youngest DD will be going off to pre-season college soccer (we hope) in mid August, so I had to find a week in the middle of the summer......July 20th is actually my oldest DD's Bday but she probably won't join us this summer.....she's in an intensive two year ad program and she can't miss anymore time!:sad2:
