AWW CONGRATS!!!! I am so happy for you guys, you seem like the sweetest couple and I know you are very excited for this gift!! And you need to check out Target...all different Disney onesies!!
Congratulations! This is such great news! I loved being pregnant! Especially because I didn't have to hold in my tummy anymore And of course, all the special attention!
So I have been following along, reading your TR chapter by chapter and loving it! I figured I'd wait until the end and say thanks for sharing, great TR, etc. But I have to emerge from lurkdom to say congratulations to you both. So exciting!
How are you feeling? You are probably very tired, and it is your body telling you to get plenty of rest now! So happy for you guys!!!
I went through the same thing with my pregnancy test with my little one. Took it and it was negative...was disappointed. A few days later, still nothing started that was supposed to start *ahem*, and I took another one...positive! I said, "This kid's gonna be trouble"!
Best of luck to you and your hubby...here's to a healthy pregnancy, an easy delivery and a healthy baby (or 2 )!!
Congratulations! What wonderful news! I'm another one who followed your trip report and enjoyed it, so I'm very happy to hear that everything worked out the way you had hoped!
I have read and lurked through all of your reports and I had to finally come out of the woodwork to congratulate you on your big news and also thank you for writing such funny, informative trip reports!
You and your DH seem like such a cool couple! You guys are going to be awesome parents.
Thank you EVERYONE for all the comments! I feel so loved here! I haven't announced it yet to any of my friends and will probably be doing it on Sunday. Excited to see what everyone's going to say.
Bonnie - you're so right! I've been SO tired the past few days. Like, exhausted and i'm not doing anything. I had today off from work, so I worked out a little bit (not nearly as hard as I usually go) and went to the grocery store, and by the time I got home, I needed a nap. I felt so defeated. I'm not sure i'm liking this tired feeling. I'm actually going to bed here in a little bit But I know it's natural and good for me.
We'll definitely be finding out the sex of the baby when that time comes. There's no way I can not know. I need to plan! However, this is what we're going to do. I've read about it and seen it done. We're going to ask our DR to write down the sex of the baby on a piece of paper, and i'll give it to either my sis-in-law (who bakes) or to a baker and have them dye the inside of a cake in the color of the sex. And we'll probably have our close family come over to help reveal it. I'm really looking forward to that.
A few days before I found out that I was pregnant, I had recently found, disneybaby.com. Oh my goodness. Can I PLEASE register on that website! Amazing stuff!
I've heard about the 'Babymoon' before but never knew what it was. For some reason I thought it happened after the baby came, like a vacation for the couple. But I guess you have one right when you find out so it will be your last official vacation as a couple. Not sure if the cruise counted as a babymoon, but I'd love to say it doesn't count so we can go on another trip! I don't think DH will go for it anytime soon! However, we will be going back to Pennsylvania to see my grandmother hopefully in early June. Not sure how it will be for me to fly. Will have to look into that I guess.
So thanks again everyone! And will be getting back to my TR!....as soon as I wake up, whenever that will be!
Just wanted to join in and say CONGRATULATIONS to you, Alicia, and your DH!!! So exciting! You and your DH are such an adorable couple and will have such an adorable baby!! I've been lurking around here for a couple of months trying to gather as much information as I can before my first Disney cruise this April to the Mexican Riviera. Thank you so much for your trip report...so helpful and super fun to read! I love all the pictures! I've been pretty much only reading MR trip reports but have been loving every update of yours that I had to read all your other trip reports! Now I feel the need to plan a Disneyworld trip with deluxe dining!! Anyway, take care of yourself and rest a lot (I remember I would be falling asleep at the dinner table when pregnant with my dd!), but don't forget to keep updating!
