Good morning. It looks like we dodged another one (thank God). I hope you all have a great Monday. It looks like my kids we get off to school with no rain.

Yucky yucky weather, of course the bottom fell out about a min before Jack gets on the bus. No time for an umbrella lol, he will be a little damp at school this morning.

Im off to clean house, work out and stew some more about this whole sending my kid to first grade crap.

I did manage to get through yesterday without anymore mishaps. DD came by for a late lunch & hung out most of the day. (Her hubby was working all weekend.)

I was up & at 'em this morning, trying to book some F&W ressies. There wasn't too much that worked for us this year, but I have a French Regional Lunch & City Taste of Italy. I also booked the Blue Zoo this morning!!!

Jenny, Sorry little Jack & Mom got all wet this morning. Today was Alexis' first day with her Mom taking her to before school care. She hated it last year, I hope she's better with it this year. It saves me two morning of having to get her ready for school, but if she keeps up the great attitude in getting ready, I might just tell Chris that I'll do it everyday. We'll see.

I have to admit, I rather enjoyed this little tropical depression- I haven't had my a/c on in two days! Last night I had my french doors open and listened to the sounds of the riverboats- ahhhhh!

This morning we went to the lakefront to enjoy the breeze while DD jumped around in puddles. It was so nice out there!

I am so freakin disgusted, the sale of my parents' house is NOT going to happen. The buyers cancelled this morning they had financing problems. We have been tied up with these people for over 3 months.

No AC! I can't do that with my typical suburban house! The breeze has been nice though. But with the wind, humidity & my short haircut I've turned into a curly frizz head!

And I hate to freak everyone out, but I just read that there in now a Tropical Storm Gustav in the Caribbean. It needs to stay away from here and Florida since we're headed there in 10 days.
