Some fun news! I am going to be teaching a Wilton cake decorating class at Micheal's in Harahan. I don't know all of the details yet. I filled out an application and got a call back yesterday. They wanted to see pictures of my skills. I got an email today that was an overview of what the job entails. I am so excited. It will only be maybe 1 day a week(which is all I think Aiden can handle me being away!) but I figure that would be a few dollars for the Disney fund!

Pain meds make me sick, so I usually can't don't take them..

The hearing was ok - I just gave testimony over the phone to the appeals judge. I kept reiterating (5 times he claimed) how we were told they were not based on income...so I feel lied to since we were encouraged to sign up for them....I will get the verdict/judgement in a week or two. they want us to pay back the value of the stamps we received.

that sounds like a fun class!! I'll be the guinea pig for the rejects/mistakes/successes!!! oh heck anything with buttercream frosting!!!

I think that class sounds fun to do, or take! I have always wanted to take it but seem to wing it okay with my kids cakes. Well, until they ask me to make something I cannot figure out!!

Thanks for the well wishes. That is what it is doing to me, making me loopy and tired but unable to sleep. I don't feel I need be on it any more as my pain is subsiding. I will be taking aleve in a few moments. Yeah, it is late, but I have been dozing off and on all day. I think I watched "27 Dresses" 3 times!! It is a cute movie and a lot more docile than I thought after her last movie(the prenancy one). Ashton's play is tomorrow night so I will be resting a lot tomorrow to be able to go to that. My hubby will be shuffling me back and forth!!

Kristina, I really think that stinks!!! When we were in Shreveport & again down in Houma, everyone was encouraged to get the foodstamps! I didn't do it, just because the lines were wrapped around the buildings & it was soo hot! But I know lots of people who did get them & were told this was for emergency's like that & not based on income.

Oh wait a mintute, tomorrow night is "Camp Rock" night at our house. Erica is having 4 of her friends come over for a slumber party.

"Camp Rock" is a Disney Channel movie starring the adorable Jonas Brothers. Erica says Nick Jonas is her husband, he just doesn't know it yet.

Yes, even Alexis (5) is caught up in the Jonas Bros & Camp Rock. She asked me this morning to take her to the movie tomorrow to see it! She was quite happy when I explained it would be on TV & didn't have to go to the movies to see it.

She really does like music & singing a lot. She's been going around singing 2 Taylor Swift songs. It's funny to hear a 5 yr old singing " your just another picture to burn"!! She does with a twaang too!
