Metro New Orleans DISers - check in!!! - Part II

Can anyone tell me how parking is at the Lakefront arena? Do they have a garage, lot etc?

there is no garage - all open air. we went for High School Musical - parked next to the gate where you go in. there was no parking fee then (although there was pre-Katrina). Not sure if/when they will reinstate it. Lot of gravel - it was rainy that day so we wore shoes we didn't care if they got wet/ruined!! we got there kind of early and parked close. getting out I went left instead of right and got stuck trying to merge in....

wow, you have been busy!!!

CONGRATS to our new Delgado Dolphin, Kyle!!!!

I am not looking at that other thread, but glad you all kicked some hiney(can I say THAT?!)!

GOOOO Tigers!!!!! Last I looked it was 5-3, Rice, but changed for a fdew and came back to a win for LSU!!!

Had my surgery yesterday. Went well, very smoothly. The pain yesterday was pretty bad, but after the catheter came out, it has all been uphill! I htae those things and had it taken out soon as the pain med took some effect!!
I go back in a week to find out all the details, as he just told my DH and parents it all went as planned. Also, since the presriptions did not include 1 for HRT, I guess he saved at least part of an ovary! I did spend the night and am glad I did-I was off and on nauseated and they gave me a shot for pain instead of a pill. I feel 50% better today than yesterday but still taking the percocet-but down to 1 every 4 hours instead of 2. I am PLANNING on feeling 50% better tomorrow too!:goodvibes

Ha! i am looking forward to feeling beter and my younger self very soon!!!:bitelip:

any misspelled woring or something that makes no sense will be blamed on my most recent percocet::yes::

a friend brought us chicken pir for dinner-perfect for my first night home. It was healthy and yummy!

Can't wait for my blackberry snowball! I was just thinking about it earlier this morning! :hyper: :thumbsup2

Lori, I hope you continue to feel better.

sitting here waiting for my appeals hearing regarding having to pay back food stamps ....sigh. my stomach is in knots

Thanks ya'll. I am feeling about 25% better today than yesterday. I was hoping for 50%, but I am taking it easy. I am down to 1 percocet every 4-6 hours and took 2 aleve in the middle of the night b/c the percocet makes the pain go away but I sleep so lighly on it(kinda wierd). You'd THINK it wouod knock me out!! The aleve worked well but today I waited as long as I could but wound up taking 1 percocet a couple hours ago.
I really don't like the way that stuff makes me feel.

I have been in our easy chair today and rented "27 Dresses" on PPV. No one has been home since 8:45-ish this morning.
I am trying to hydrate a lot!!! So trips to the bathroom are pretty consistent!!!heheeee::yes::

A good friends made us dinner for last night and another good friend sent me some lavender tea in the mail today. We love different types of hot tea!

Thank you for thr prayers. I am all about that-I know it works.

Lori
