Kathy, How sick is Kyle? Nothing too bad, I hope!

It takes a lot to keep this kid in bed ALL day and that's where he was yesterday. He started out with sore throat and body aches then fever and vomiting. He's feeling better today, he has to be at school at 12:30 for graduation practice.

Kathy, My niece who attends AOL (the merged IHS/Blenk) just found out she has mono & apparently it's almost an epidemic at the girls's school right now! And if it's going around the girl's school, it's going around at Shaw too! If Kyle doesn't feel well real quick, maybe he needs to get to the dr. soon!

Mrs Kreamer, I was chatting with Kathy on the WFDT & realized I needed to tell you about the new Super Laborie's. I was surprised that it was so nice! Big produce dept., big wine dept., lots of cheese & just a nice large selection of things. It looks like they are trying to compete with Rouse's. Which is good news for us.

I also picked up some yummy tomatoes at that little produce stand on Barataria ( across from Walmart).

IronMan was very good. Lots of cool action scenes and lots of comedy scenes too. Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow are really good in their scenes together.

I have 5 high school boys here shooting a "music video" for their Fine Arts class. It involves two boys dressed up as brownies, 2 ninjas and 1 kid who just has to eat girl scout cookies and drink milk. This is all done to a Nirvana song. This should be a very interesting video.

It sure was a nice day yesterday, I'm sure the humidity will start creeping up today.

This week is Alexis's last week of school. Then her & her Mom & Dad head to Disney on Saturday! I had decided not to go with them & take an Alexis break before summer. But of course now I'm just sad & jealous!

Thanks for the heads up. I need to do our fresh grocery shopping this weekend, so I will head over there to check it out.

I love that fruit stand. I have been walking there from my house about once a week. The lady who owns it gives my kids an apple when we get there and we always chat for a little while.

She told me the tomatoes were hot-house creoles. They were delicious! The texture was still a little off, but they smelled & tasted like creoles! She said it wouldn't be long before she'd have them out of the fields! I'm still sad they don't have all the things they used to carry before the storm, all those bins were always filled with local goodies.

Kathy - did Kyle have a virus? DD woke up vomiting as well has diahrea(sp). This is a bad stomache virus going around. I hope the rest of my family does not get it but unfortunately she caught this from my nephew who was sick with it this weekend. Now DS and her family are all sick too....

Yes we have 19 more days before our trip.

Not sure what it was, he had sore throat, congestion, fever & vomiting. It only lasted 24 hours though. Hope DD starts feeling better soon.

My mom had that bug this weekend-hope everyone is feeling better soon!

Went to the OB yesterday and had an ultrasound, found out I have a fibroid or polyp in my uterus that is causing most of my issues, aside from the endometriosis. I also have a normal cyst on an ovary that could also cause a little pain. Knew I wasn't in pain for no reason!!!
Looking at a hysterectomy very soon, or a D&C plus lasering of the endo(which will not get rid of the fibroid in there) and a hysterectomy later(should i have any emotional attachment to my girli parts!!). I am a canidate for this laproscopic hysterectomy that is outpatient and recup time is ONE WEEK total!!! No 6 weeks of no work or driving or whatever. He says I could drive as soon as 2 days after and be back to work and normal life in 1 week. Maybe I'll give myself TWO though!!!

Anyone have this yet??

WOW that sounds amazing! I had the old fashioned hysterectomy 11 years ago and I was back to work and driving in three weeks. Best thing I've ever done.
