VERY COOL!!!

I went to Delgadoo for my pre-req's and after hating UNO for a few semesters. I LOVED Delgado much more than UNO.
Also, my sister dated a really nice guy that played for Delgado a few years back.

I love even more thier name-Delgado Dolphins!!!

Trust me I want to , but DH wants the free dining and who i am to complain at least he is taking me back LOL.
We will be there Sept. 11- Sept 16th.
I was thinking ill try to drum up some extra cash by myself lol and head down for the weekend with yall with out the family LOL SHHHHH It will be last min if i do it ; )

Thanks ladies. Lunch was nice. We went to Cochon, a Cajun restaurant in the warehouse district on Tchoupitoulas. Boy was there some strange options on the menu. I stuck with the safe stuff: crawfish pie, baked red fish, eggplant and shrimp.

I have to share my good news. My Dr.'s nurse just called to tell me my Bad Cholesterol level went down 15 points and my overall cholesterol went down 17 points. She told me to keep up the good work with the low cholesterol dieting and exercising. I have to retest in 2 weeks. I am so excited.

Congrats on the lower cholesterol! I'm jealous that y'all went to Cochon! I showed DH that menu a while back & he went nuts. Any rest. with boudin & smoked pork has his name on it! We have talked about going there but when it comes time to go out, we forget about it.

It's not official as Kyle has not signed anything but it looks like Kyle's and our dream may be coming true. The Delgado baseball coach approached Johnny at the Shaw play-off game today and said he wants to meet with us as soon as our playoff season is over, he REALLY wants Kyle for his program. Their baseball program is excellent and he'll be staying home, ya know Mom is happy about that.

Kathy, I hope that Kyle ends up where he'll be the happiest & have the greatest success!

Okay, I went back to catch up, but I can give you some peppermint ideas. I use lots of peppermint oil and think it can work for you the same, or close to.

If you have a headache, peppermint on a warm rag is fabulous. Sometimes i can rid of a headache just with the peppermint. You just lay downa nd out it over your forehead and partially over your eyes-sinuses. I ALWAYS use this on the kids before giving them tylenol and 99% of the time, it cures thier headache. I bet if you heat up a leaf in some water, the oil will come out in it. Itis VERY strong in essential oil form so 1 -2 drops is more than enough-it can burn your eyes if you put THAT spot directly over your eyes-even if they are closed. I also put it in bath water when our sinuses are acting up, or for a sinus headache.

You could even just put it in asmall pot or burner and let the hot water give off the peppermint aroma-yum.

I have no cooking ideas other than if you knew how to make candy with it at Christmas!!

Well my baby doves appear to have left the nest this morning.

rie'smom, I don't actually "have" birds. The doves just decided my hanging basket on my patio was home! It worked well for them, two eggs & two baby doves. But they flew away yesterday! Alexis asked when could we get some more!
