We had a fabulous lunch today at the restaurant in the Bass Pro Shop. I had a delicious crab cake sandwich and Mark tried a buffalo burger for the first time. If you didn't know it was buffalo you wouldn't think any different and it was quite tasty too. It was a fun way to spend an afternoon. Mark's not in to hunting or fishing (he golfs) but I always enjoy walking around looking at all the neat things in that store.

I'm just getting back from Church. I think today will be a do nothing kind of day. I bought some steaks at Sam's last week so Mark can throw those on the grill for us. Chilling and DISing is the order of the day.

Good afternoon! Just came from Target, had to get some stuff for next weekend. Not sure if I told y'all we're leaving Thursday for an exciting 4th of July weekend in beautiful Hattiesburg, MS for a baseball tournament, can ya tell I'm thrilled?

While I was there I picked up a walkman kinda thingy to use when I'm at the gym. I start Monday 7/7, my goal is 1 hour of cardio 5 days a week along with strength conditioning. I'm up to 40 minutes on the treadmill everyday now at home.

Hey ya'll! Checking in from Detroit. We're headed to Indianapolis tomorrow-after a stop off in St Louis for work.

We'll be back in NOLA on the 2nd. And headed to Biloxi for the 4, 5, 6. Then back home a couple days then back here for work. whew!

But, things are starting to slow down some for the road and embroidery orders are picking up some- so I should be home again soon.

We put down the deposit today for a Disney cruise in May 09. Rick's never cruised and I've only cruised once on Carnival about 20 years ago with my grandparents. So, now I'm digging through the cruise board looking to know everything I can.

Looks like we'll be taking a quickie trip to the world soon, before they close Pleasure Island. Just to see if our friends there know where they're going and to see the Adventurer's Club one last time. Rick's upset, and is sure Disney has a grudge against adults. I guess I'm a little disappointed, but it just makes me wonder what's next to go? Although, I'd love to see them add a "nightclub" kind of lounge at a couple of the resorts and rehab Atlantic Dance Hall. Jellyrolls is fun, but not quite what we enjoy. I'll stop there before this becomes the rant it could be.

Lori- Congrats on the new addition to the family.

Today has been my clean up day. From washing 3 loads of clothes (the darn washing machine cuncked out on the last load, it's not spinning out all of the water so we have to call a tech. in). Cleaned both bathrooms and cooked lasagna. Whew I am pooped. But I have been wearing my ipod during all of this so it helps the time pass.

DD is spending the day with one of her friends so I have been having a good time all by myself.

My mom just called. Her father just passed away. She is really taking it hard. He was around 75, but did not take care of himself at all(smoked and had diabetes). He has been hospitalized for awhile now. He was put on a feeding tube 2 weeks ago and told my mom to ask him what his wishes were.

I am sad, but I feel ok. Honestly I am more worried about my mom. Some good thoughts and prayers for her please...I know I seem to be here asking for that a lot...Thanks.

Haa!! I have a zenV plus and I can out CD's on my PC onto it, but have NO idea how to buy songs. I walk and exersize to my Disney songs and some Christian music-heck all kids-I like some alternative(Creed is a favorite even though they are no longer, as well as Daughtry). I learned how to put podcasts ON it, but cannot get rid of the same ones!!! I go into the thing I downloaded on the laptopn and do delete and sync it, but heck, it is still there!!! I understand your pain! I can even watch things on it, but can't get the Disneymom podcast thing off of it either! I mean, how many times do you watch or listen to those things? ONCE!

We saw "Wall E" on Saturday. DD and I loved it. He was so cute. DH and DS thought it moved too slow.

And I figured out how to put on songs and podcasts but sometimes (not all the time) they don't want to come off. And sometimes my podcasts load in with music and sometimes they load into the podcast section. It MUST be male cause I sure can't figure it out.

To put y'all in a tropical mood, here are some pics from my garden. This is our big hobby, and we especially love tropicals! One great thing about living here is that we can grow some gorgeous tropicals. You'll have to excuse my excitement, I have to wait all year for these to bloom!

Hawaiian butterfly ginger- is very fragrant and smells heavenly This survived Katrina (came back the following year).

Hidden lily- also a Katrina survivor.

Bromeliad. Don't know the exact name- this is a baby I grew from a host plant.
