hey all...hugs to all who need them.

went to neurologist yesterday. he sent me for an MRI today and I have to get blood work done when i can fast....tomorrow is the ob/gyn....i have been feeling horrible all day with the new medication. this is why i hate meds. so wish I could go and eat with you gals tomorrow. i have an all day saturday and my sis wants to come in sat night and "hang out with me"....I really need to tell her not this weekend...but my niece SO wants to come in and see us...

I hope you adjust to the meds soon.My husband knew my depression was getting bad because I started taking medication-I hate to take anything because sometimes the side effects are worse than what is being treated.

Rie ended up going shopping with her boyfriend and his mom. It was ok though because I called the salon and got a super short haircut. Rie would have pitched a fit if she had been with me because she wanted me to keep it long. This morning I looked in the mirror and thought the hair has got to go and it went. Picture 3-4 inches below my shoulders and now a little longer than a pixie.
She wasn't thrilled at first but she got over it quickly.

My MIL was in excellent spirits this afternoon. We're hoping she can go home tomorrow. She's such a sweetie.

the search option on the Dis really blows now. I put in DDP and i get all types of PTRs and stuff i didn't have in mind. It was better when it was the puppy dog-even though it took longer..............anyway.............

I have a question about DDP maybe you can help me with. Well, maybe 2.

Are appetizers on it for each person,or at all, or has that been nixed? It has on the brochure that only kids 3-9 get apps-that doesn't make sense to me and i could be reading it wrong.Lori

Lori, no one gets an appetizer anymore. I miss that and having the tip included too. We tip the same way you do except between Thanksgiving and Christmas I'll tip from 50% to 100 % if I get good service. I figure the wait staff can really use the extra $$$ at that time of year.

We love using town cars. I can not stand driving so this is a big gift to myself. At WDW, we either use the buses or taxis.

And on that subject, Ash very well could be pulling one- she has definitely got some of her daddy's sarcastic disposition and a great sense of humor-so she may be biding her time and giving me trouble for fun. The one I really think could suspect it is Haley though, b/c she is just going with the flow, not ONE word about being upset. So, I'll let you know!!

Today I did more about the trip than any other day. This is when it is gonna be hard with them supposedly not knowing. I wanna start packing!!!

I'm a bit of a maniac packer. You can bet that 3-4 weeks before our trip, I'm ready to go. Rie, on the other hand, packs 20 minutes before we leave; however, she packs 3 suitcases with tons of stuff, so she doesn't pick and choose the way that I do.

We decided on a towncar this year too. It began with the fact that we end our trip at US/IOA and there would be no return trip available to us, but when I found out we could get a towncar with a 30 minute grocery stop and not have to wait for our luggage to arrive at the resort, it was a no-brainer.

Sheryl - We've never had any problems with ME at all and we've used it the last three years. The only inconveniences for us were having to wait up to three hours for our luggage to arrive at our resort and on the return trip you need to be ready to spend close to three hours at the airport for your return flight, they get you out to the airport way to early.

Bethany - So glad you got to meet Jen!!!!

Kat, this is what started us on the towncar too. We always have a few days at Universal and they charge ~ $20/ dayfor valet parking not including the tip, so we started getting a driver.

ME is a pain for us because it seems to take forever. It's probably just us being anxious though.

Bethany and Jen, I'm glad you got to meet and then coffee and beignets with Cara-I'm jealous.

Yes, have fun tomorrow while I am at CHUCK E freakin CHEESE with my kids and another mom and her kids. It is a place I cannot wait for the kids to grow out of, but in a tiny way I am glad they still wanna go, and VERY tiny way. We're gonna be there for "rope drop" I gotta be at work for 1pm and we like to get there early anyway to avoid the crowd.

I just made my official planning sheet. I have it in my iPod Touch, but seeing it on paper just "sparkles" to me!!!

Paul really doesn't think Ashton knows a thing- and he said even if she does mention it, that we are going to DENY it -ughhh-hope I can do it with a straight face. I SUCK at lying, esp to my kids.

I like short hair too-although may call mine mid length right now. But Ash is ready for Locks of Love and i need a cut too-esp before WDW!

My house must have an MLS # today b/c I had a few inquiries about it. Why would someone ask about owner financing? Isn't that renting to own or something??

I gotta look that one up.

Chuck E Cheese wasn't so bad-we had fun actually. We got there b/f the crowds did(our usual). I didn't have to go into work today. So I ran some errands and now the kids are doing school. We started about 3.5 weeks ago and have gotten a total of 10 days in. We started with math and reading, then this week we added Daily Grams-a daily language arts drill. Next week we will add either Latin or language arts, not sure which yet. I started them on subjects that require the most time from them and the least time from ME. When everyone else in in school we will be in full swing!

Got my ME stuff in the mail today- guess I will call and cancel!!

I let him make his own appointment a few weeks ago, but he didn't put it on the kitchen calendar. He thought he was going by himself, but I went with him. I'm so glad I did. Its such a special time for him. I can't believe my "baby" was taking his senior pictures today. I started tearing up a little when the photographer was posing him. Suddenly, the memory of him being little and the photographer trying to get him to smile popped in my mind and the tears started I am going to be terrible this year with the big events coming up for him.

Aw sugar, I hope you feel better. I had vertigo several years ago and it is just awful. Did the doc you saw before give you antivert? It worked for me.

Owner financing is a lot like renting to own.

Home schooling is fun! There's a website called edhelper.com that is fantastic! It costs I think $20/year but it makes up work sheets and you can type in vocabulary to make all kinds of puzzles.There's math, science and other subjects as well. It is wonderful. In fact even though Rie is no longer home schooled, I still belong because I use the high school version to make up practice tests for her.

I cried like a baby the whole year our oldest was a senior. Not only was he graduating high school but in February of that year, we got Rie. It was a crazy wonderful year.

Oh, NOW I am jealous-you got to see Lorie's haven- her yard- it always looks soooo pretty in pics. of course, with all Todd's creepy crawlies, I may be a little jumpy! But as long as there is no roach...........I can handle any other bug-from a distance

Yeah, we have had to sorta step back from our home and it is much easier. Did I tell you we had our 1st showing Monday night? It was for a MIL of a family who lives less than a mile away. They thought it was "charming". I had plans with some friends and wasn't here, so Paul showed it. I felt a tiny bit guilty till the strawberry margarita hit home. I helped paul straighten up and had all my dirty clothes in the car I was out in
rotfl. I was glad he showed it first b/c i think I'd have cried while showing them all the good things about the place.

Paul made the kids go outside with the dogs- but some of it was b/c Ashton is brutally honest , even about mundane things. We do NOT lie(well not to each other or others, but heck, for our kids.........), but she may tell them about how the dog ate the window sill, or how the guys that fixed all the little things in the house-just stuff that we have taken care of already and no one really needs to know. I mean, I know we have to disclose problems and stuff- and we will- but those are NOT good things when selling a home to say!!
