Met Any Celebs While Touring?

While we didn't see her, we were stuck in the line for Peter Pan because Courtney Cox wanted to ride alone, no one else in the ride with her and her daughter. We were not happy having to wait longer.

Wow, because people in the other boats are so easily seen and distracting. Maybe they would have jumped out of the their vehicles to see her. Mygod, the ego. :sad2:

Welp, that just about has to be the most selfish and arrogant thing I've ever read. Here's hoping I don't run into any celebs on my trip ;)

Back in 1998 we saw MJ walking with a bunch of bodyguards at PI... They were no more than 20 ft away from us.. (I'm not a fan of him but it was cool seeing him).

Wow that was pretty rude of her.

As a PP has said, I normally wouldn't notice them either, the crowds are almost faceless, just one big mass of people. We never saw her, and only after we heard the CM's talking about it did we know that's what was going on. I'm pretty sure the conversation with my DH afterward had the words "diva", "snob", and "prima donna" used a few times! LOL!! Although, if I had the money to do it, not saying I wouldn't ;)

There are probably very few famous people that I would recognize haha We just aren't big on movies - we have a 2 and an almost 4 year old, Mickey and Doc is about all we see ;) But it would be fun to recognize someone.

Depends on your definition of "celebrity", but my family are all big fans of the TV show Survivor and were surprised to find ourselves in line for Festival of the Lion King behind a familiar Boston accent. "Boston Rob", who has been on the show I think 3 times, and his family were there. They could tell we were looking at them (and giggling like idiots) and gave us a friendly wave.

Back in the 90's we were on the boat from EPCOT to (then) MGM with Ben Folds (musician). I didn't recognize him but my wife, who was a big fan of Ben Folds Five, did.

My wife saw Ginnifer Goodwin leaving the Tiki Room.

Being the shy person she is, my wife didn't go up to her but did manage to snap a picture of the back of her head as she was walking away.

I would've loved that! Big Once fan here ;)

We saw Joe Rohde at AK taking a bunch of people around in April. Probably working and showing the new Avatar and Rivers of Light (is that the name? Blanking.) it was cool! I don't think I'd clue in to most celebs because I truly don't care. But Joe Rohde? That was cool!

A few years ago, DH pointed out one of the Red Wings players just outside Star Tours in HS. (He's a huge Red Wings fan.) DH didn't approach him bc he was with his kid and DH figured they deserve some uninterrupted family time together.

(We've seen several celebs in different places - Drew Barrymore, Jimmy Fallon,... - and never approached any of them.)
