merry mixers

I'd like to attend a DVC merry mixer when we are in WDW in Dec. When are these events usually announced? Are there regular dates and times or does it change yearly? Anyone been to one?

It's been in December...last couple years on Thursdays in December, though previously has been on a Wednesday as well.

I'm hoping that they announce dates and such on the DVC Member Cruise that starts today.

We have attended these the past few years and are hoping they annouce the dates soon, too. You get a nice ornament, cookies and punch. There are games for the kiddies and characters.

I got word today from MS they said that every thursday in dec there will be a mixer I am still waiting on a place and time.

Where are they normally held? We'll be there right before Christmas - it sounds like fun!!

I have heard that they plan to be every Thurs. in Dec. as well but I do not have 100% confirmation at the moment. The events are a great way to meet other DVC members and have some fun.
