DVCmember.com has posted that Merry Mixers will be held on Thursdays this year in December from 3 to 5 at the tent behind Epcot.

As you see below, the website has changed to say that was last year's info and dates for this year have not been set.

DVCmember.com has posted that Merry Mixers will be held on Thursdays this year in December from 3 to 5 at the tent behind Epcot.

They have updated the front page of the member website to say that the information was from 2009. The 2010 dates have not yet been determined.

Can't wait for the dates - just want to make sure that our plans for that day are correct or if I need to change them. We went last year and had a blast!!! Our DS who was 3 almost 4 then - joined a group of other little boys - and won the dance off - it truly was one of our favorite memories at Disney! Our little DS will be 2 for this trip and more than willing to really join in the fun at the dance party - can't wait to see what happens and share the magic with our family who will be there for their first trip.

I hope the Merry Mixers are not on Thursdays. If it is I'll miss it because I wanted to attend the members association meeting on the 9th. I'm only there Friday to Friday.
Anyway you really do not have to do anything but show up and stand in line the day of the Mixer. It's at the International Gateway in back of EPCOT. You will see the crowd at the tent. Show your member card and your in. Enjoy.

We hit the very end of 2008's mixer and it was apparent we missed a good time, I cherish the pins I bought there though.
Last year, 2009, we were just landing at MCO when the mixer was going on so we missed it. Doesn't look good for this year either

But that does include a Thusday. Do you think they would do it at the same actual TIME? Usually the asso. meetings are earlier in the day. I think the last time we went to one, it was at 10:30 AM.

I don't understand why they can't decide and post when the mixers and meetings are going to be held, months in advance. Doesn't seem very Disney like. If I remember correctly, the wrong times were posted last year also.

The Member meeting didn't end until around 5:30 last year and they only took maybe 10 questions from the members.

The mixer is put on by the DVD Marketing department. As long as someone in your party is a member, I am sure that they won't mind non-members attending. Guides will be there and you never know, maybe your parents will become members!
