Merida at MNSSHP?

Has Merida met at MNSSHP in the past? Is it usually a good time to meet her with fairly low waits? I was thinking about watching the parade from Frontierland and then trying to meet her right after the parade and before the fireworks since her location is near the castle, but I don't want to risk it if there is not enough time because the MNSSHP fireworks are our favorite and we wouldn't see much that close to the castle! Thanks for any and all advice

We met her at MNSSHP 2-3 years ago, right after the second parade. She had one of her "helpers" taking pictures of her with guests in costume to show her "mother"!! It was so cool!!
