Merchandise delivery from parks to hotel

We are going to be in WDW for January '22 and notoriously over shop early in the day. Our thought has always been to buy it in case you never make it back to that same spot or before you forget where it is.

Disney offering to have our merch sent directly to the hotel or even the front of the park is obviously super helpful with that in mind. But looking online it says this service is still suspended.

I am very much hoping that is only a COVID hangover and that it isn't something that would be made permanent. Has anybody used the service lately? I know the Disney site is often outdated on these things.

If it is still not offered is there any rumors or indication when or if it will come back?

We've been speculating it's a staffing issue. Now that the college program is back, there's hope for it returning, but I've not heard any rumors regarding it. Just speculation.

Okay - good to know. I hope you are right about the college program being the hang up. I would be very disappointed if this service didn't return.

While it's a great perk to have, I'm not holding my breath for it to happen soon as so many other things would be great to happen first: more dining options, shows return, etc. But, we can hope!

It really is a great perk and it encourages people to spend more money, so I would hope that would motivate Disney to have the service return.

I do understand the staffing challenges though. Hopefully they get back to a full compliment of CMs soon!
