Merch supply

I was thinking about all the news going on in USA right now and how it may affect merch supply into the parks. With the vast majority of the merch seemingly made in the worst affected country presumably anything at ports, on the water, in production and future orders will now not viably be sellable. New orders to less affected factories will presumably take at least 6 to 12 months to be delivered.

How much stock I wonder does Disney have in warehouses in USA already and when will this start to become a problem in the parks?

I have been thinking the same thing and saw your thread before starting my own. As a previous Disney Store cm, people (especially overseas tourists) would come in looking for items made in the USA and there weren't any (I can't remember finding any) and this was back in the early 2000s. I was suprised and disappointed and it still bothers me, so it brought me to the same question you have.

Looks like China is willing to talk, according to today's reports. Perhaps this will be resolved before it turns into anything impacting.
