With less than a week to go I thought I had it all planned out!! Revisiting our dining choices because our DS is a bit fussy I can't belive the lack of up to date information about menus and choices. Having looked at the usual suspects and the excellent trip reports there is no central place with up to date information. In an ideal world there would be one site with pictures of the latest menu (with prices) and pictures of the food. The trip reports and restaurant reviews on here are great but the reviews are very hit and miss to whether a picture is included (and some are very out of date). I thought I had visited all the sites to do with DLRP but have I missed one with all the information I have listed? Obviously I am going to add photos of all the food we eat and menus with a review when we get back.:hippie:

Hey hope this is some help

depending on where you want to eat you can get a whole range of stuff

Cafe Hyperion (Videopolis, Discoveryland) has a range of burgers, salads and chicken nuggets, you want pay any less then 11 euros for a menu which includes your burger, chips, drink and dessert

In Frontierland they have a bbq cookout where you can get chilli, salad or bbq chicken, again with menu style - 11 euros or more

they also have a mexican place in Frontierland near big thunder mountain, that does fajitas, chilli, and taco salad - again, menu is 11-12 euros

they also do pizza in disney, i think its 8-12 Euros for a pizza but its a good size.

I assume you've looked at DLPfoodguide and Magical Kingdoms? I know they're a bit out of date but the menus don't change that much and they'll certainly give you a feel of what style food they serve and an idea of prices.

I think I didn't get my point across in my original post. Currently DLP Foodguide is the best choice for seeing menus and prices in DLRP. It is a great site and potentially become an absolute definitive guide. Unfortunately parts of it are well out of date. For example we want to go to the Chuck Wagon and the last info is for 2006 and does not reflect that it is now a buffet.Planet Hollywood (Sep 08), Cafe Mickey (Sep 08) and Rainforest Cafe (May 07) are well out of date. On the plus side King Ludvigs, Cowboy Cookout and Annettes have photos of the 2010 menu. I think the site should have up to date photos and it would be great for seasoned travellers and Disney virgins alike. I aim to get as many photos of menus as possible and send them into the site.

If we all took photos of the menus in the restaurants when we go on holiday it would make the site better and help everyone:yay:

I got back a few days ago. I tried as much as possible to take pictures of the menus and or food. I definitely have the kids menus from Annette's, Walts and Silver Spur Steakhouse in Frontierland, as they double up as colouring books for the children at the table. I will try and sort out my pictures and notes and things asap.

Yes, it was exactly this back in 2004/2005 when we were planning our first DLRP trip. I think I can remember reading that Marco and Andrea Otte, whose site it was, handed it over to someone else last year so hopefully, if people continue to send them photos of menus, the new people will find the time to update it.
