Menu question

I'm traveling with my mother to WDW in December. Making ADRs has been interesting because she is a rather picky eater and I can't eat very spicy food. She loves Mexican so I was wondering if there is anything on the menu at either La Hacienda or San Angel Inn that is not very spicy. I lived in NM for several years and I know how spicy authentic Mexican food usually is and I can't eat it. Nothing on the menu looked like it would be something I could eat. She isn't very adventurous in what she will eat, but we are staying at AKL and it would be most convenient to eat at Boma the first night. She's 86 and I'm pretty sure the trip to WDW will wear her out so I don't want to have to eat at a park or another resort. I've seen some non-African food on the menu at Boma, but is there enough available for a picky eater?

At San Angel Inn - I ordered the soft tacos as a meal and they were not spicy - not sure if she will eat them. They made the order bigger for dinner.

Boma - I am sure there is enough food for your mother to eat there. We love Boma and we were with people who don't eat foods that spicy and they enjoyed it.

Boma is wonderful! We have people in our party who can't have spicy foods and/or food allergies and we note it on the ADR. A chef comes to our table and then walks them around the buffet. He/she will then make them stuff to supplement.

Like PP, I love BOMA. Also, as PP indicated, it is always a good idea to add anything special to your ADR. Disney will always accommodate. I like San Angel Inn and love La Hacienda--I didn't find anything overly spicy at either. Again, I'm sure they'll accommodate you at either as well.

You might also have her order from the kid's meal at the mexican restaurants, those tend to not be too spicy.
