First post on the board...WooHoo!! :)

Hoping I've put this in the right section...

We're making our very first trip to WDW this December (3 adults 1 very finicky 2 1/2 yo).

I was wondering how up to date the menus were for the various restaurants. My (heaven help him...ocd-like) DH is beside himself that we haven't made any adr's yet and I'm trying feverishly to do some research (instead of actually working during work hours) to figure out where to go.

Here's my issue...my 2 1/2 son is pretty much a burger/fries/pasta kinda kid, plus he has a milk allergy we have to deal with..no cheese allowed.

We do have the ddp so I've lurked here long enough to find some of the buffet/family style places.

My specific question is that I've heard just about everyone rave about Chef Mickey's being the place to take him and when I look on the menu here on the boards it didn't list burgers or plain spaghetti.

The kid eats alot. When we go to a regular restaurant we usually order him an adult size burger or pasta so this newbie is looking for help/advice/suggestions since he won't have his own plan.

Help!!

First off - Welcome:welcome:

Second - DH is kinda right - you better get going on those ADR's. The menus at Allears dot net have the date posted on top of them are very current.

At buffets, kids are not limited to the kids section - nor are adults limited to the adults section....its one big buffet for all to enjoy.

The menus posted on unofficial sites are usually provided by readers. If no one has provided the site with a recent menu, they will leave up the last one that is provided.

Sounds like you're saying your kid will eat only burgers and pasta. I've never seen burgers at a Disney buffet but you could probably ask if they'd get him plain pasta. Your child is too young for the dining plan. You'd be expected to share with him. If you want to buy him his own food at an a la carte place, that will not be covered under the dining plan, but at a buffet he could eat whatever they have.
