menu at La Cava Tequila

Where is this place located? DH and I are going for an adults only trip this November. Those margaritas look too good to pass up.

World Showcase, Epcot. Inside the Mexico Pavilion (pyramid building) down the ramp on the right, sharp right to La Cava del Tequila. It's a Bar/Lounge that specializes in Tequilas but they do offer some beer, sangria and wine. It is not a restaurant, just a watering hole. Some tables & chairs. A stand at pub table, a stand at bar.

If you want to take a real hurtin' ask Pepe to make you a habanero margarita.

I hate that they took away the food! . . .

1) There were economic reasons to remove the food.
2) Simply
. . . for DDP/DxDP, it wasn't enough to cover the food cost
. . . with food, people spent too little time eating and not drinking
3) Booze has a far better profit margin than food.
4) Plus, without food, the bar stools turn over more quickly,
5) New patrons mean more booze.

I had the wild passion fruit one. Yum.

I never even knew they served food. But they didn't have many places to sit so I just got mine to go.

They were not allowing anyone to stand at the bar after you got your drink when I was there over Mother's Day weekend. It wasn't that busy in there so I don't know if it's that way all the time.

I'm glad they got rid of a lot of the food. It discourages people from going in for lunch and hogging a table for a long time. I saw one couple with little kids eating there once and no one was drinking!

The place is so small... keep the tables turning over for those of us who are there for the main attraction: the tequila!
