OK First I need to tell you about my niece Erin, I think she may be a Focker in training. We are leaving in 5 weeks for our Adventures by Disney trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons and she is already packing. Darn that kid makes me proud.

As for your family, I would definately look at changing planes, you sure you want a week in Disney with those folks.

It's 10 days. We'll be together for 10 days. And I'm seriously questioning my sanity at this point!

For the hair, wow, that's some long hair, mine is so thick I could never have it that long. I agree that if you can still pull it in a pony tail then go for it. We will want pics, of course.

I'll take a before and after. I'm still not sure what to do, but whatever I do decide, I'll be sure to post pics!

If you can still do fun stuff like put it up diff ways or girly braids(love them) after you cut it I say GO FOR IT. It will feel much lighter in that heat and humidity and the highlights will look fab in the Fl sun

Did I ever tell you about the time they went to Yosemite and he accidently touched Poison Ivy. Well, then he decided to teach the kids how to whistle with your 2 fingers in your mouth. And then he decided he needed to take a whiz out amoungst the trees. Yup.... Poison Ivy on his lips, his winky and his hands!

You guys are NOT going to believe this. I even thought it was a prank! I just got off the phone with Donald. He was just returning home from another visit to the ER. And no, not for his knee...
This time he was cleaning his kitchen table and he reached under and jammed his middle finger, tearing the tendion (sp?) that holds his upper bone to his middle middle bone. His finger was sticking straight up in a 90 degree angle and he was in crazy white hot, almost ready to pass out pain! He heads to the ER and finds out he tore the tendion and will need to have pins put in if it doesn't heal itself in the next week or so.
OMG! This is crazy! He is sooooo accident prone, he really should just be the boy in the bubble for the next 5 weeks! It's so ridiculous, I can't stop laughing!

This sounds like DS10....except for the poison ivy part. Just last night he fell out of the van....twice; not while we were moving, but when we parked to get out. He fell in the kitchen this morning.

I have to share this with you guys, 'cause only a fellow DISSSSSS-er would understand.
Today we had a small birthday party for Evan with Andy's family. Actually it was just his sister and her DH and their DS. We went to Chili's and then had a small cake at Andy's sisters house.
Well, I may have mentioned before that Andy's sister & family are leaving for WDW next Saturday, right. They're staying at the AKL and for those wondering, they were not moved to another resort. They were told only the Standard view rooms and people staying on the DVC side were affected and moved to different resorts. And all the restaurants are open regular hours. They are staying in Conceirge level savannah view rooms and are just fine.
Anyway, so of course we start talking about their trip. I ask my BIL which planning method he used... TGM, UG or another guide book. You know what he said? He told me he used the WDW website and based his itinerary on the EMH schedule. Whatever park had PM EMH's that's were they would go! As soon as he said that, Andy kicked me under the table and gave me that "Make the blood go back into your face and don't say a word" look. OMG! We were dining with "them". You TMGers know who "them" are. As we were driving back to their house from the restaurant... I had to quickly renegotiate my deal with DH. There's no way I can do Disney with his sister. I'll go crazy. So, I carefully put together a new plan. I told Andy that if free dining was offered next year, could we go in mid-September and stay at the Poly. Now this is only if free dining is offered next year and I promised not to book anything until free dining was official. (fingers crossed, of course.) Well, Andy has the worse memory and couldn't recall the first "deal" we had worked out. So he figured I was renegotiating in his favor, but of course we all know I'd never to that. Well, he took the deal! Now I just have to wait until next April to see if free dining will show up!

Okay, so I am such a know it all...I would have to make your in-laws an itinerary and give it to them before they go with strict instructions to follow or they will be sorry. I would attach a cute Mickey head note stating, "Enjoy, the pain reliever-less trip, it on you."
