I totally agree only my 67 year old husband acts more like a 5 year old. Can’t pick up after himself, makes a mess doing absolutely EVERYTHING, can’t make a single decision on his own, and expects me to do everything for him. His dad was pretty much the same.

Not the same thing. THAT is passive-aggressive feigned ineptitude. It's a time-worn strategy used mostly by men and children to avoid household/family tasks they would rather not do. By deliberately screwing up every expected task that they really don't want to do, they attempt to annoy their spouses/mothers into doing it for them, and they all too often succeed at that goal.

I as the husband had the opposite. I figured out why my clothes were never washed (she stayed home, I worked 12 hour shifts.) It was because my dirty clothes were in the clothes hamper/basket while she picked up all her and the kids' clothes from the floor first and couldn't get all those loads done in 1 day to finally get to the hamper where the dirty clothes were suppose to be.
