I use the Sony memory sticks for my Sony digital camera. My question, Do they wear out after being used over and over again? I have been using my present memory sticks for over a year. Does the clearity of the pictures diminishes over repeated use? I don't want to have blurry pictures of my upcoming trip to Disney.

I think you are more likely to have file errors then blurry photos.I have been using some MS for about 4 years now with no problems .I use them for everything from Camcorder ,DD camera ,and file storage movement between DD and my computer.

I also use original Sony, a lexar, and Scan disk

instead of using "erase all" option after dowloading all your pics to your PC, use "format" within the camera. It tends to work better that way (less chance of file errors)

Yes, they "wear out" as in the tiny flash cells eventually will not hold their data. It takes over 100,000 changes (average) before they do this so it's a good bet your camera will quit long before the sticks do.

The memory records either a 1 or a 0, not much middle ground. Any errors are likely to show up as a corrupt file or a bright/dark pixel, but not blurry images.
