Memory Maker ?

Just pre-purchased the memory maker for our trip. I was logged into MDE account and it shows up under my name. Will the others that are linked to my account be able to get pictures using their magic band or do I have to be there? I'm hoping there's a way to make sure they can use it without me. Thanks in advance.

If there are linked to your account they should be able to use it. My husband, kids and sister all used the one I had purchase in November.

If they have confirmed the link, they will be able to have the pictures added with their magic band. You do not need to be there.

As long as they are all on your account, they shouldn't have any problems using it.

I was very worried that DD and DH would not be linked to my MM, even though my TA and the DIS assured me they were. Everything was fine once we were there. I do believe that videos for SDMT and TOT are linked only to the primary on the account though. I had seen someone here say that, and I just realized that held true for us on SDMT when DD and DH rode without me.

Is there a limit to the number of people who can be linked to your account and Memory Maker? On our next trip I will be traveling alongside my wife and kids, my two brothers and their wives and kids, and my parents. We will all be staying at the same resort but on different reservations, and are all linked as friends and family on MDE.

If they have their own MDE account you can verify that you have given them permission to do this by clicking "edit" to the right of their name in your My Family and Friends list.
