I just pre-ordered Memory Maker for our trip. Would anyone care to share their pics?

I ordered Memory Maker too and I'm very glad I did. I'm a professional photographer and it really eases my mind knowing that someone else will be doing the work for me. DS will turn 3 two weeks after we get home and I saw a photo a few days ago of a little boy around his age with Mickey. Not only do the PP get the posed images of you and the characters, they also snap photos during interactions. The photo was absolutely precious.

When is your trip? Ours is Nov 30-Dec 5. I'll be happy to share some pics from our trip pixiedust:

They are not all professional photographers, so don't be surprised if you don't love all your pictures. Each year seems to get worse in my opinion. Last year was our worst with roughly half of our pictures being blurry. That being said, I will always continue to pay for it because I like that we do get some good pictures and they have all of us in them.

I loved MM specifically because the photogs knew when to snap pics and catch the interactions happening. The posed pics are great, but I love the candid shots they catch.

Here's an example, when we met Woody and Jessie, the couple in front of us got a bit overzealous, causing a wardrobe malfunction and Woody had to run back into the cabin. Before my kid could really get upset about Woody disappearing, Jessie grabbed him and insisted he sit down with her while they waited. During that she was playing with him the whole time, he was smitten and a photog caught a few moments that summed up the experience.

I know that most actually aren't professionals, but if I can pay to have someone who is competent with a camera take all of the photos for me, then I can relax and not have to lug my heavy camera around with me all day. I know I'll probably be the worse critic when it comes to the quality of the photos, but hey, it's alright. That's why we'll stop at different PP frequently and do lots of M&Gs!

Agreed! That's why I keep paying for it every trip. The ones that turn out are priceless. I figured you might be a little more critical, that's why I wanted to mention it. Enjoy your trip and take in all the magic! :smickey:
