Memory maker with package

Just received my Magic bands, discount book and ME luggage tags....I didn't see a memory maker card?!?!

Is it automatically tied to my MB?

I got a MM card in the mail separate from the tags and such. I tied it to my reservation automatically by clicking "link" in MDE.

I was told that they stopped sending the cards because people were getting the card and then cancelling the reservation and keeping the 'free' MM. Mine showed up on my account after I checked in at the resort.

The important part of OP's message is the title. I'm assuming the OP got the Magic Your Way package that included Memory Maker for free. I'm in the same boat, I booked the "MYW package with Memory Maker" months ago. My magic bands will be shipping any minute and in MDE, there is no mention of Memory Maker, other than the standard option to buy it.

I've asked 3 separate CM's how it's going to work and I got 3 different answers. One said that a card will come in the mail that I will use to link it to the account. Once said that I will get the Memory Maker code upon check-in at the hotel and I will use that to link it to my account. One said I don't have to do anything and it will automatically work.

Anyone have any definite answers?

I didn't have a MYW package. I did have an AP room discount with free MM. This was last week. After I checked into the resort, the MM was automatically put on my MDE account. I didn't get anything to link it to the account and I didn't get a card. It was just there. I haven't activated the entitlement (downloaded any pictures using it) yet because we have an entitlement that is not used up from last month yet (you get 30 days of downloads from the first day you download), but I can definitely see it on my MDE account now.
