Memory Maker Questions

Hi! I just purchased Memory Maker over the phone with a Disney Cast Member and I think I've successfully linked it to my MDE account and also have it assigned to my husband's MDE account. Myy question is this. My kids are also guests on my account and on the reservation so will their Magic Bands work to have the pictures added as well? They wouldn't be anywhere without one of us but I know my daughter will think it's cool to have her band scanned for the pictures.

Also, if we have 2 sets of Magic Bands (we have a split reservation), will both sets of Magic Bands work with the Memory Maker?

Yes and Yes. If your kids are on your account (and you manage the account), they will be able to scan their own MBs for the pictures. And if your MBs are all linked to the same MDE account, they will all work.

I am considering buying Memory Maker and have some questions too, so figured I'd tag along on this thread. I had set up all my family on MDE and have invited them to join to MDE. So now, when I look at them in MDE, it doesn't say "you manage this account" anymore, it says they "have a Disney account". How does Memory Maker work in that situation?

There are 6 of us travelling initially and then 5 with a split stay. So let's say we go on a ride and want to get each person's picture. Does the "owner" of the Memory Maker have to associate each picture to their Magic band? Or let's say 3 people go on a ride but the "owner" of the memory maker doesn't go. How does that work? Hope this makes sense. I just want to make sure I don't invest in this and then miss out on a bunch of photos.
