Memory Maker questions

Please help!
I'm so confused about Memory Maker. I though that my whole party could use their magic bands to send photos to memory maker, but I wasn't able to link it to more than one of us at a time on MDE. After reading through the FAQ's and chatting with a cast member on MDE site, it seems that I have to keep reassigning who controls the "entitlement" of the Memory Maker throughout the day. In the FAQs it says that the owner of the memory maker has to go to the ride within 24 hours to get the photo linked to the account. This sounds like a real PITA- my party will be in different parks and riding different rides. I guess I will have to sit on a bench and reassign the memory maker entitlement based on who needs it all day. This was not all all the way it was described to me when I bought it. Please tell me I have it wrong, and it is easier than it seems!!

We have ordered MM for our July trip. From what I understand only the person it is assigned to can download the pictures at the end of your stay. If you link everyone on the MDE site they will be able to scan their bands after a ride and they all show up. When you look at their name under you friends and family it should say can view photo pass pictures. That is what it says under my MDE site with the list of our family members.

Hope that's right....The CM I chatted with today said that only the person the entitlement was assigned to could scan their magic band at rides and that only one person at a time could be assigned....

I bought MM a few weeks ago and I called because I wasn't sure either the Cm said i am the main person who can download the pictures but as long as everyone is on my MDE they can use the bands for pictures that includes rides and meals and characters

What the OP is describing is how it worked under PhotoPass+. It seems with the change to MM to prevent scamming they should be more liberal and allow any linked MB to get the ride photos.

I've read numerous posts on here lately where others who were linked to your MDE account could download the ride photos. So if your family members are linked, they shouldn't need the entitlement. Remember CM (especially those on the phone) are often wrong.

*Note - I haven't used MM yet but have it ordered for my June trip and have been reading most of the threads about it.

Only the person that owns the memory maker entitlement can download photos. The others can view but would have to pay to download.

We just returned and I had the same concerns.

I linked my family on my MDE. We used my MDE account. Everyone was able to have pictures added. My daughter says one group of photos she took with my son didn't appear. oh well. We also noticed while we were there some of the magic shots they took didn't have the enhancement. We stopped at a mm kiosk in the poly and the CM fixed the problem iin 5 minutes.

We've happily downloaded the pictures on two computers.

I have a brochure from the MM kiosk. It has a FAQ...

"When can I begin downloading my photos?

Ans...With MM, you can begin downloading your photos as soon as they are available in your MDE profile, or you can wait until you get home and download them all at once. Either way, you can downlopad them as many times as you want for as long as they are available in your account"

Photos are available for 45 days

OK this may be a repeat but I just want to make sure I understand. Everyone on my account can add pictures from photographers and rides but only the one that the MM is assigned to can download the pics. Is this correct?
