Memory Maker poll

I feel like most posts I have read about Memory Maker have discussed missing photos. I am not sure if this happens most of the time, or if people are just more likely to post if they have that experience. So I am hoping to see how likely the chance is that I will have issues with pics getting added to my account! After spending so much money, I am hoping there aren't too many issues...

I voted everything showed up. We did have our test track photos not show up but that was because they were having technical difficulties at the ride.

We had two different sets of photos not show up. I simply called (I knew when and where they were taken) and they were able to find them quickly and add them to our account. I made sure to check every night when we returned to our room to make sure they were all there. We love MM and will be using again for our trip in August.

The only pictures that didn't show were ride photos for one day at Test Track. I didn't even notice until it was pretty much too to do anything about it and didn't really care all that much so I didn't bother trying.

We've never had an issue with Memory Maker. One time, about 4 years ago, we were getting photos taken during a MNSSHP. The CM taking pictures gave us back the wrong card (this was pre-magic bands and when the service was called PhotoPass). We went to the PhotoPass office in the front of the park and they helped us find all our photos.

Out of 300+ photos, we were only missing a test track and a Buzz (this one was due to DH having all of our bands in his vehicle during MNSSHP). Both photos were recovered within 24 hours.

Our past three trips we had issues with memory maker. First trip missing photos from epcot, some were never found, second trip some photos of rides were missing our 7DMT photo or video never found. This past trip I made sure I check while we were in the parks. We got wrong pictures link to our MB in RnR, buzz, and test track. I made sure I went to the pp store in the parks while we were still there. Came home and the pictures of my cousin meeting Jasmine were gone, but they were there before we left! Contacted pp they said they couldn't find them. I email back asking if this could be a glitch since the photos were there before we left disney. Well magically they found them .

We used Memory Maker last December and Photopass plus the year before. We were not missing any photos.

If we have been missing any they weren't ones I remembered anyway.... We get so many taken-how do you even notice if some are missing if they weren't a must not miss location for you? I would notice if a few key ones weren't there, but we often get multiple sets in front of the castle, tree of life, earth, And the hat (not anymore for that one).

I voted that Pictures were missing and we never got them. To be fair though, we were missing 2 sets out of around 1600-1700 original photos on our MM (we downloaded over 2500 pictures in the end). One set was from behind Spaceship Earth in Epcot. The other set was 1/2 of the JTA that our kids did (you get a card for that), they claimed that one was a system malfunction. We were missing several other sets at different times, but they were able to find all of our other pictures in the end.

I've only used it once on a family trip with 7 people.......we had over 600 photos and only 2 didn't show. DH with DGD seeing Buzz and me on the Mine Train. They couldn't find either of them

Last trip was the only time we had a few pictures not be there but that was a problem from my end in not have DHs MB properly linked and he scanned his band. We have had other people's picture show up on our account.

I didn't vote because there wasn't an "other."

At some point after I got home, I realized I did not have my Photopass photos with Woody & Buzz at DHS - but the CM handler had been taking pics with my camera at the same time and got some great ones, so I didn't worry about contacting Disney to recover the missing Photopass pics.

I never could get my ride photos (Buzz Lightyear and Test Track), but I suspect that was more User Stupidity than anything. One note, though - the ride photos were the only ones for which I scanned my MB. I had the actual Memory Maker card that I used for all the other MM photos I got.

Has everyone been using their MB successfully for all their MM/PP photos?

Hi! That is funny that you mentioned the Buzz ride because we only got 1 of our ride pictures and didn't notice my sons was missing until later. I wish now that I would have called to find it! I do love the memory maker though, we got soooo many pictures and I would definitely do it on every trip!

I think op might be on to something. People tend to say more when they have a problem because they are either frustrated or looking for answers/help to fix it. Therefore you will read more negative threads than positive. We had no problems on multiple occasions. Sometimes some pics take a day to show up but they always have for us. Even when we don't get mm and I'm just looking at our ride photo's

Used MM on our last trip in July. We were missing one photo out of over 400. But, I knew when and where the picture was taken, so no problem.
