Memory maker and magic band question

I just purchased an annual pass so I receive memory maker and it is attached to my magic band. I have friends going down soon and they are linked as friends. My question is ...if one of them wears my band will it automatically upload their ride photos and videos? They won't have their own bands btw.

Correct.
Memory Maker does not relate to a ticket being used at the gates.

Should work . .and won't use the ticket since they won't be scanning it at the turnstiles (and wouldn't work anyway since they don't have your fingerprint).

So .. just a related question on this.
IF they did have their own Magic Bands .. wouldn't the photos get uploaded to your account as well since all friends and family that you link in MDE get captured if you have Memory Maker?

Just curious how that works with Annual Pass .. do they see all their friends and family photo pass shots throughout the year even if they aren't in the park those same days?

I was wondering about this too. I am traveling with family next June and I have purchased Memory Maker. I am assuming if they are linked to my My Disney Experience account, their pictures will show up in my account. There should be no need for them to purchase another Memory Maker, correct?

Good question. I was mainly concerned about videos and photos from the rides where they don't use a photo pass photographer

Whether using your ticket entitlements or not, technically Magic Bands are not transferable. And using your Memory Maker AP benefit is essentially using one of your ticket media entitlements. Our March trip my sister and her daughter rode Test Track without me and did not have my magic band but they are linked as friends & family and their picture was loaded to memory maker. My sister is going back in two weeks so I'll be interested to see if their pictures show up.

If your friends were to wear your band, yes the pics would show up. Same would apply if they got a normal Photopass card, and linked that to their account. They could stop by the Photopass desk to get any pictures added to the card on 7DMT or similar. Or if they bought a MagicBand and associated that to their account, the pictures would show up. As long as they are set as F&F and are set to share their photos, the pics would show up in your account.

Any pictures that would be in the accounts of F&F will automagically show up, as long as they are set to share photos, and you have Photopass set to "Show Friends & Family".

Is there a way for the second set of friends to be linked and have their photos show up on the first set of friends memory maker package?

Can the simply link each other as family and friends?

Is the date gap between visits an issue?

Yes they can join up as friends and family in MDE and their photos will show up. The dates are fine. You have 30 days from the first memory maker download to get more photos, so they are good.
