memorial weekend

would you go memorial day week 5/27-6/3 or the next week 6/3-6/10? It will be 18 of us. all first timers expect for my immediate family of 6. We are doing 3 days in Disney parks with hoppers and one day at universal.

We did 6/4-6/11 this year and are doing 6/3-6/11 next year. I just figure Memorial Day week might be more crowded but I could be wrong. Also I'm a teacher and Memorial Day week is our first week of Summer Break and I need that week to tie up loose ends before traveling.

I would do Memorial day week. On our 2014 trip, we arrived on Memorial day and it was an incredible trip. The crowds were very manageable. Every week in June gets a little busier than the last, so earlier is better.

See we went memorial week 2014 as well and it was incredible to us as well. However in 2015 it was very busy. Manageable because of our plan and having been before. But it was a shock to see rnr line to the railroad sign at rope drop.

2016 Memorial week trip for us was very busy! We went the same time in 2011 and it was very managable. Unfortunately this trip made me pretty much done with going in the summer if at all possible. Give me fall/early december anytime!

We went the 2 days prior to Memorial day this year. It was busy, probably the most dense crowds I have seen thus far, especially in Fantasyland, however, with planning, it was manageable, and our trip was fantastic!

We have gone the week of (three times: 2010, 2013, 2014) and the week after (twice: 2012, 2016) Memorial Day. Mixed results for all 5 trips. Flip a coin. However, this year the week after Memorial Day June 6-12 the crowds were lighter than I expected.
