How bad are the crowds for the week around Memorial Day (specifically the 26-31). I originally planned to stick out the crowds in hopes of a 24 hour event but now that's not happening :(:(:(. If anyone has pictures/ride times info I would greatly appreciate any information. I know that EasyWDW has them listed as 7-9, but I honestly don't know what to make of those numbers and they scare me. We usually go late September/Early October and end of March and went early December last year. So is it worth it? Will it feel like a nightmare to us since we usually go around "low crowd times"? We don't have a trip planned until our Honeymoon in December and the withdrawal is slowly killing me.

I went that week two years ago and it was so nice we're going the same time this year. We only noticed the congestion at the Star Wars Weekend activities, which aren't happening this year. Since we reserve nearly all our meals and rides now, the crowds almost don't matter. The weather is perfect then, too.

We were thete last year during Memorial Day weekend. It was crowded but not unbearably so . FP was crucial, though. And the weather was near-perfect all week.

I don't think it's bad at all, actually the lowest crowds of any of my trips. Of course, we usually go at Spring Break or Christmas, so my perspective is a little different. But definitely nothing compared to those crowds, at least!

We will be there as well - May 27 - June 2. We have been July 4th before, so I am sure it will be nothing like that! Hopefully, the wait times will be less than what I have been seeing these last couple of weeks!

We had to decide between the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend through the Saturday after, or exactly one week later. We went with a week later because I think Memorial Day weekend will be busier this year than usual. This year, Flower & Garden goes all the way through the end of May -- normally, it's mid-May -- I think a lot of locals will be at the parks that weekend. Also, a lot of things are rumored to start that weekend like the new SW fireworks and the Frozen ride at Epcot. I just think it will be busier than usual this year. With that said, I don't think it will necessarily be any lighter a week later when we go, but at least we won't be starting off our trip with holiday crowds. We usually go during busy times, so I'm not too worried, but you'll probably find it considerably more crowded compared to when you usually go. On the bright side, it could be a lot worse!

Compared to September is it going to feel like wall to wall people or does Disney do a good job "dispersing" the crowds.

I've been a lurker here for a while but I signed up to say that I'm glad you asked this because I'm going the same dates this year. I've been nervous about the crowds. We went in early March last year and Thanksgiving 2014. I'll be interested to see how the crowds compare.

Alright ya'll convinced me and I booked (not that it's hard to convince me to go Disney) Just wish I planned this one a little better and got the Spring Discount:sad2::badpc::headache::headache::headache: I guess we will be buying another AP after all!

Memorial Day weekend doesn't "feel" bad compared to Christmas or Spring Break, but you will definitely notice volume coming from very low crowd times. I don't think it's unmanageable, though - just have a good plan and stick to park open/close and you'll be fine :)

And whats funny is that I had a much easier time getting FP for SDMT (not even at 60 days out. It's more like 55 days out)... Go figure.

I think that should tell you something. We will be arriving the week before you, and our last day will be the 26th in MK. I've been worried about crowds, but this thread has eased my mind (a little).
