Memorial Day Weekend

We had to forego our WDW trip last year & this year, we were able to get a great rate at the Dolphin, but our trip falls over Memorial Weekend. We usually go beginning to mid-May. Any suggestions for minimizing crowd stress? Has anyone been there previously at that time & how crazy are the parks? Thanks for your input!

mouseRD: Don't know your family demographics, but I would suggest hitting the parks as early as possible, then since you're staying on property, you could go back and relax/nap/swim in the heat of midday, then return for the home-stretch. I really don't think it will be as bad as you might expect. Memorial Day falls at about the same time as most kids are getting out of school, so families who are planning to vacation over the summer don't necessarily feel the pressure to travel that particular weekend.
