Members's cruise

We have put together an additional "cruise" for after the SMCC. We have reserved a boat for the Illuminations Show at EPCOT on Thursday, September 22. There are 4 seats open and wondered if anybody here would like to come along. If the boat is filled, the cost is $35.00 per head + tip (if you are inspired). It will leave from the Beach Club at 8:00 PM. Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks are included. Please PM me if interested! Thanks, Dan

Thanks! It should be a much better way to see Illuminations than having to fight for railing space! And there are snacks and bevvies too!

Where in the Chicago area are you? We are WAY west. Out in the middle of the corn (and bean) fields...

Hi again! Turns out we won't have an answer for you until tomorrow evening. We are very interested, but my DH needs more information about what he needs to accomplish on that Thursday and when. If someone else steps up, let them have it (and let me know); otherwise, I'll get back to you tomorrow with a yes or no. (Hopefully yes!)

As for Chicago - we're in Schaumburg (NW Suburbs). Just how way WAY west are you in the corn and bean fields?

Hi Truffle - I'm disappointed to tell you we will not be able to join you on the Illuminations cruise. We already had an obligation which we tried to rearrange but to no success. Wish we could have gone with you. I hope you find someone to fill the two remaining spots and I wish you all the best of times!!

Re-posting info here in case anyone missed it on the Member Cruise thread in the Cruise Meets section ​

Finally got word back. Here are the deets. The photo will be taken on Pirate Night (Monday the 19th) at the D Lounge. Mickey will meet us at 6pm.

Everyone is welcome to be a part of the group picture, with or without a pirate costume. The group picture fee will be $85 like last year. It will be charged to my stateroom. If you'd like to pitch in towards the fee, that is great and appreciated but not required to participate in the picture. Only requirement is that you give your best smile when the photographer says "say Mickey" and actually look like you are having fun
