Membership Number question

Hey guys! We bought direct back in September and are now purchasing resale (two different resorts, same UY). What I’d like to know is... when we close, will we get New membership numbers?? Or will our points be added into our already existing account? Thank you!!!
 
Let your broker and the title company know that your are existing owners and provide them your membership number. I always used to write it on the transfer documents that went to Disney too. If everything is titled exactly the same as your current contract DVC should just add them as sub contracts to your existing membership.
 
Hey Kat, thanks for your help! One of the first things they asked for when we signed the contract was if we were existing members and what our member numbers are. Should I reach out and confirm they’ll be together?

If all works out, I’ll be able to access all my points without having to log out of one and sign into another? Thanks!

I think things have gotten better about getting resale contracts added on to existing membership. In the past brokers didn't even used to ask. I'd just verify that somewhere in the transfer documents that it's noted and you could consider giving Member Administration a call shortly after you've closed on the resale.

Once the new contracts are added to your membership then yes, it will all show up under your one login.

I have 2 member #’s (diff resorts and diff use years) but I can access all under one log in online you just have to select the contract you are looking to use from a drop down menu. So even if you somehow get assigned a different member number you still should be able manage it all under one log in. Having one member number would be ideal though if you plan to combine points at 7 months.
