Thanks. That's for the renewal? I know it's 65 points with MMB and that's what I was trying to figure what a renewal (approximately) would be as I have an older pass in my MDE that doesn't expire til 2030. I have to use it sooner than later.
I'm sorry, I told you wrong before.
$989.39 is what I'm showing for renewal.

I got through. Went through the entire program. We have a trip booked with our kids and grandkids in Feb and October, with early December with friends most likely. So….after picking apart the cost of tickets for the trips with the kids (thats when I will run around the parks) and seeing the cost of the memory magic maker photopass, I changed my mind and bought MMB with a gift card I received for Christmas and then I used some lingering points for the AP. I won’t know if any of this is worth it until I put it to use (or not). Why?

And $99 is a drop in the bucket to what we spend anyway…
We are AP and don’t need the photo pass but we borrow pts almost every year and the OTU perk is the main reason I purchased. We may use the ticket perk also, but my son in law can get military tickets most of the time.

FYI for those who are locals, if you are not staying at a Disney resort, you cannot enter the lounge at Epcot during the extended hours from 5 to 9 PM even if you are DVC-BY. Just walked up to the podium right now and found out.

I think you have to be staying on points as well

How did you buy the membership? Did you call? I'm international and the Buy button is disabled for me 😩
The buy button was disabled for us as well which is why we called but we were refused as we were international (Canadian),

Can direct points in holding be used to purchase the AP? I am debating canceling a reservation but it would put the points in holding, and it would be great to use it for the renewal. I can swap them into another reservation if not.

I was on the phone to purchase my OTU points and book my bungalow but apparently yes, points in holding can be used to purchase an annual pass. I know what I'm doing with my points in holding from now on 😂 I asked if there was anything about like rule of 4 but she stated as long as it's before the expiration date it's fine.

If I were trying to do it though I would have member services on the phone while I cancel the ressie that would put points in holding and then have them immediately use them for an AP just so there's no "I heard I can use holding points and now you're telling me I can't use them" blahblahblah.

Are they already doing the extended hours with the characters at the lounge, or were you just inquiring for future reference?

So I have an AP with Memory Maker active at the moment, but not planning to renew when it expires this spring. I have a trip planned next month, and another trip later this year. For my first trip, I'm wondering if Disney's systems will recognize that I currently have an active Memory Maker and save my MMB Memory Maker benefit for my later trip. Any thoughts on that? Or should I check with MS (but not today since they're apparently swamped)?
