They were asking t about the Disney collection, like Yacht Club…which I didn’t think you could do.

But you can. I known you can use them for all DVC resorts.

I’m wondering if our children who are named on our direct contract could buy separate MMB if they also each owned their separate 150pt contracts, then if all 3 of us each bought $99 MMB we’d each be able to buy up to 24 discounted OTUPs.

Not that I really want to do that That’s for sure more points than I want right now! Just trying to figure out how a family with different memberships could use MMB/OTUP.

I think the only way different owners can get the benefits if they have multiple UYs..

For example, we have three..DH and I own June and Dec UY…August UY is owned by us and our three adult kids.

If I buy, I can get the deal for up to 24 points…so I do it on my June UY. I think if my DD decided to buy…since she is a different household….she should be able to unlock the deal for the 24 points under her membership which is the Aug UY one.

If we both bought and wanted to take advantage, it wouldn’t all of a sudden allow us 48 points in the Aug UY, because the limit of 24 per membership per UY has not changed.

I have points with just my name on it on it.
Then, DH and I points together on a different UY.

Do we have to pay twice or should we just get the membership on the one that both DH and I are on?

If we use the one that DH is on, will it exclude benefits with the points I have (OTUP, for example).
If we use the one with just me on it, will it require me to be "the guy" who gets us the prescribed benefits for the lounge, for example (and DH is just along for the ride)?

Can we both even sign up?

Since none of the benefits kick in until Jan 12--it will probably take a while to find out more answers, however....

I signed up through my membership. I then signed out of my membership and signed back in under DH's membership and the system did not seem to recognize DH as a MMB member. (There was a link for him to sign up and pay another $99.00. )

I'm not even sure we will take advantage of $99.00 worth of membership magic, so I left it at just 1 membership.

That's one question and the other is if a single Blue card 150pt in UY will extend to the other UY that may NOT be blue card. That's the unknown -- technically I would say 'no'.

But we've seen MM able to be used on non-blue UY resale points too so there's a grey area of unknown here that needs to be clarified.

It really comes down to if DVC wants/has the points to do this and how far wide they want our money that's beneficial to them.

Bought. Cost me a cool $83.58 with my DGC. My current DGC savings sits at 15.58% Have to say I am so happy Disney allows gift cards to be used for so many DVC things.

Get one bonus One-Time-Use Point for each One-Time-Use Point purchased! Members can purchase up to 12 Points for a total of 24 One-Time-Use Points in a Use Year.

Based on the combination of this, the fact that many of us have multiple UYs, and this program is called, Membership Magic Beyond: my opinion is that once a qualifying member purchases it, it is applicable across all memberships owned by the member.

So @Sandisw and I can purchase once and have BOGO OTUP for each of our 3 memberships. (This sentence may be misleading. We are not married to each other. Hahaha . )

What about DVC-N memberships for “hybrid owners”? I’m obviously hoping they will be and will test it soon after January 12.

We have a Jan7 visit to VGC upcoming; oh well; was hoping to be able to buy and use OTUP for this visit -- plenty of time for future trials.

Yes, looking to see if can extend past our Blue UY- August. to the other two non-Blue UY - Dec and Mar which DVC-Y wife can purchase MMB and use for Dec or Mar UY.

Another question would be can I use with UY24 Dec and again UY25 Dec with a single MMB?

I'm curious. What if you have 2 WDW trips that are 60 days apart. If you get photos during both trips, but only activate the Memory Maker benefit after the second trip, can you download photos from both trips?

To the other question about buying and using OTUP across different memberships…
Not sure how they mean this but it does say

• A maximum of twenty-four (24) Vacation Points (including one-time-use Vacation Points and Bonus Points) can be acquired by a Member per Benefit Season.

Sounds like one individually named member won’t be able to exceed 24pts under the MMB program.

@Genie+ and @Sandisw seem to have the most probable answer to the question of whether the 12 BOGO OTUP benefit works across each UY for members with multiple UYs. The answer seems to be ‘no’.

OTOH, it seems each member of a UY can purchase a separate MMB…maybe?? Caveat: beneficial and valuable only if the shared contracts are under more than one UY. I’m now pinning my hopes on this.

DL uses Photopass so it cant. I really wish Disney would get DL and WDW all on the same services.

So I have an AP that has photopass that doesn't expire until May. When I renew I don't want to add photopass if I can get it free for 30 days. How is the system going to keep my 30 days from activating while on my upcoming January trip?

So, the “discounted” tickets are about the same price as a third party website. Thanks for the opportunity to pay $99 to access those still ridiculous price points DVC!

And the idea there would be a cap on this is laughable. They want every member who can purchase. To purchase.
