Member Welcome Kit

For all you first time DVC buyers who purchased their DVC on resale between April 2020 & now, how long did it take for you to receive your Member Welcome Kit from Disney after your deed was recorded? Our resale agent said within 30 days, but I thought this forum's members could provide a more accurate timeline.

I bought in late 2019. I got an activation code by email and had to call to set it up.

I never got anything in the mail, except a letter confirming months after I set the account up.

I bought the $7 magnet in the shop disney store, and they gave me the 15% DVC discount, haha.

We did receive something in the mail from Disney when we bought our first contract earlier this year. We passed ROFR on March 18th and received the letter last week It was just a letter outlining what we could and couldn’t use points for due to the resale restrictions last year and 2 DVC magnets. Not something to hold your breath for!

Our resale contract closed on May 5. We got our activation code e-mail on June 4, Yesterday we received a welcome letter from DVC in the mail. There was also a car magnet included.
