I called the Disney Dining # at 7am this morning to book my CP dining package. I was on hold 30 minutes before I had to take DD to school. Thankfully, I have the 800#......

Called MS at 9am. On hold less than 1 minute and booked the CP. :wizard:

One question, will MS be able to book 90 + 10 or would I have to call Disney Dining?

You will have to call Disney Dining and if you are trying to get any popular reservations do not use the 800#.

MS told me that they could/would make my ADRs but for any in demand event such as CRT or CLP to call the dining number because the hours were better. BTW I called Group dining at 7am got right through to book CLP and the CM was able to most of my other ADRs. I have to call back for T'giving day and Illumination cruise.

Oh so confused...thought if staying on points, DVC members "had" to use MS for ADRs. In order to get an early start on waiting in line today for CP ressie, I called one of the WDW travel co's 800 numbers. An hour or so later, I accomplished my mission, shortly before 8:30 a.m., EST.

The CM said:

1. She wasn't aware that DVC'ers had to call MS for dining res.,

2. Didn't need to know where I was staying, or even whether I was staying on site, but

3. Since I'd be @ the BWV, I can pick up the vouchers @ the desk. :rolleyes1

So, which is it? At my 90 day mark do I call WDW dining (a perceived advantage since they answer their phones earlier than MS does) or do I wait for MS? Thanks.

I would call dining for the real advantage of earlier hours.
Good Luck.

I've never used MS to book dining since they open later and never had a problems booking PSs (now ADRs) using 407-WDW-DINE.

Good, I was concerned about losing the early advantage. Although I wasn't asked for my res number, they'll need it to confirm the onsite booking advantage (10+ days out) that I assume DVC guests will also benefit from. FYI, not sure how "speedy" they are now, many have posted rather lenghty hold-times, but I usually use 800-828-0228 or 877-939-3732 to book PS/ADRs.
