Member service slow in sending email confirmations?

Hi - we had a reservation and I changed it on Saturday (so excited, we are bringing friends which will make it even more special than usual). I got everything I needed for our reservation, but haven't gotten a confirmation email yet. Am I being too impatient or are emails taking longer? It usually is the same day.
 
Last Monday, we booked Aulani via the Online System around 9:00 AM and received the confirmation email at 9:48 AM.

After we finished making the reservation, we sent an email to Member Services requesting a specific villa location. We didn't receive a response from MS until 8:47 AM today. Since we still have 330 days to go before our trip, getting a response on our villa request wasn't a top priority.
 
My understanding is that if you call MS, they have to request that you get an email. Online booking generates an automatic email. Sending an email request to MS can take up to a week now to get a response. MS chat is sometimes answered, sometimes it isn't.

I'll say it again, IMO the new DVC management has changed the way that DVC does business.

Why don't you just go online and take a screenshot of your upcoming vacations?
 

I was told when I called last week that they will no longer be sending email confirmations. I know that may be misinformation but with the changes they are making I would believe it. I know when your waitlist comes through you get an email but I have not for any other time since January and I have had 2 reservation.
 
When I made changes to reservation just over a week ago, MS asked if I wanted an e-mail confirmation of the changes sent. I said yes and received the e-mail a few hours later.
 
Made our Aulani reservation by phone on Saturday, received email confirmation today. Was asked by CM if we wanted an email confirmation.
 
Sometime you get them and sometimes you don't, at least that's been my experience over the years. I wouldn't depend on it if I were you. Of course, YMMV.
 
My emails came on Monday (thank you MS). I guess it was just slower over the weekend. Happy to have them in my files for future reference.
 
I haven't received email confirmations of any of my reservations for about 2 years. I just go to my dashboard on the DVC website and it is there. I am not sure how it was determined that I wouldn't get emails. The only inconvenience would be if I urgently needed the information and the website was down, like it has been sporadically.
