Several DVC members have asked recently about where to write, to whom to write about pros & cons of DVC. In the Winter 2001 (vol. 10, no. 4) "Vacation Magic" on page 3 at the bottom, it states:

"If you have comments about Member Services or a recent stay, please contact our Member Satisfaction Manager, Jackie Lueders, by calling 800-800-9800, sending an email to members@disneyvacationclub.com (subject: ATTN JACKIE LUEDERS), or write to:

Disney Vacation Club
Attn: Jackie Lueders
200 Celebration Place
Celebration, FL 34747"

I cannot stress enought that DVC CMs DO CARE about what we think, how we feel, our suggestions/comments, etc.

I would love to see a grill (GAS would be wonderful, but that is probably dreaming) at VWL.

Is this the perosn I would email that request to?? Thanks

I would start by contacting Jackie. If she is not the correct person for your comments, then I am sure she will forward your comments to the correct person.

Jackie was the person who contacted me regarding the 2 queen bed in the dedicated 2 bedrooms at BCV issue. She was wonderful and very friendly.

I am not sure I like the idea of a grill on the patios at VWL. Seems to be a great fire hazard.

I have 2 (dumb?) friends who had problems with a grill too close to their house, one caught fire and took 4 months to rehab, the other melted their siding.

Another potential problem might be fire codes. Here in Massachusetts it is illegal to have propane grills on a patio or deck above ground level in an apartment building or townhouse. Fire Depts in the towns around me go into the larger condo areas doing a walkaround. They issue warnings to owners or occupants having propane above ground level unless there is direct access from the ground (ie without having to go through the building)

Anyway, as an owner, that is just my 2 cents worth

The grill(s) would be in the common areas, like off the quiet pool area.

If you go down to the hut were you pay for the boats, there is a couple of charcoal grills to the left of that on the small beach there.

ps for all those wondering about VWL, returned on tuesday after 8 nights there and had a spectacular vacation - no problems at all concerning resort. :D
