member only pins

A couple of questions.
1. It's been awhile since I was to WDW. Are they still selling member only pins.

2. If they are, do you think my DD will be able to buy them for me with my membership card while she is down there this weekend with her high school band? I sent my card with her just in case she can.

DD is marching with her high school band on the 4th of July at MK. They are also getting to see Fantasmic while they are there. Wish I was with her, then I could get pins myself and share in fun.

Yes they still have member only pins. There is a Tinker Bell one that is available all year, and a limited edition one that is available until sold out and the next one is issued. The current LE one is Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother.

I don't imagine your daughter will have any trouble getting the pin as long as she flashes your member card. Good Luck on the pins and Congrats to your DD!

I have extra Cinderella pins if anyone is looking for some. I only purchased one Tinkerbell. They are harder to find, but the pin station at DD had them the end of May. Let me know if you want a Cinderella pin.

They more than likely have the member pins at your local DVC convenience store. Just ask they have them in the drawers.

DD just phoned me (I'm so glad I sent my cellphone with her) and said she got me the Tinkerbell pin at Pin Central at EPCOT!! I'm so glad as this is the one they were out of when we were down for spring break. I had asked everywhere in March but nobody had them. Now I will have to wait and see if she can find anything else. She said Tinkerbell was the only one Pin Central had currently.

PS: She also added that so far it is hot and humid (as expected), but so far crowds are not as bad as she expected. They just got there last night and have only been to EPCOT (there today) so far however.

They are suppose to come out quarterly. The Cinderella one came out the first part of May, so I would look for it in Aug.
