Member discount for Non DVC resort?

Do members get room discounts for non DVC resorts when paying cash? IF so do you have to book through member services and what is the discount?

We just became members but are going in March to Port Orleans Resort with the wedding discount. I am wondering if we do get discounts through DVC if it would be cheaper.

I may stand corrected but I beliebve the DVC discount only applies to DVC resorts. Try AAA or AP rates they are just as competitive.
