I am hoping to book our first member cruise on June 23 and have several questions.

1. Add-on opportunities - Are they any more enticing than on a regular Disney cruise? I am wondering how tempted I might be.
2. I see we have to call MS to book - Can this be transferred to a travel agent? I love my Costco Cash Card!
3. Does a member cruise count toward Castaway Club status?

Thanks!

They may offer additional on board credit. If I were you, I would be very mindful of what current offers on to be sure you are getting a deal. It used to be deals were better on cruises, I am not sure that’s still the case. They used to give a number off the price of a point, but now they give total savings.

No, you book through MS, and the reservation stays with them.

Yes, this will count toward CC status!

Which one are you interested in? We will be trying to book the West Coast one.

This is essentially a charter. You cannot transfer to a TA, or use a placeholder and discount. But it does count towards CC status.

We are looking at the East Coast one. That would be a Grand Slam for us!

That's the one we are hoping to book as well, our first member cruise, too. Thanks for asking those questions, I had pretty much the same ones lol

Same here, the East Coast Cruise, our first MC also, very excited hope everyone gets what they want.
