Don't post much but I am currently a DVC member with only 100pts. I am thinking about getting another contract with the same UY as my first resale that I bought as resale. My question is; Will I retain member benefits from my first grandfathered contract if I get a second contract with the same UY?

yes you will keep them.

Had you bought your first DVC after the 4/4 and done so resale, then you would not have had the perks.

So since you have it already you will keep it.

Regards

If I buy on the resale market a large contract for say 100 pts. What is the minimum amount I can buy for Disney? Then can I use all of those points at the same resort at 11 months out. So let's say I buy 100 pts at OKW and the 25 at the poly. Would I be able to use 125 at the poly at 11 months?

No the points at Okw Are only good at 11 months at Okw and the points at poly are only good at 11 months at poly. At seven months you can combine the points.

The booking privilege is tied to the points. If you want to book PVB (the DVC resort at the Poly) 11 months out, you need enough PVB points to pay for the reservation. I don't own a PVB contract but if I arranged for a PVB owner to transfer points to my account, I could use them to book PVB 11 months out.
