Well, I just pulled the plug on our Chicago trip. My DD started throwing up at about noon today and hasn't stopped all afternoon, so I decided that we should postpone the trip. She's not happy about it, but understands that we want her to be better before our trip. I'm probably going to taking her to the doctor in the morning instead.

I know, so exciting! My mom and brother were joking today about how "fun" it would be to have a hurricane hit in the middle of the trip so they could experience a real Florida hurricane. I told them they were nuts!

Sorry you had to pull the plug on the AG trip, but she definitely wouldn't enjoy it when sick. We brought my niece for her 7th birthday this year and she loved it. I'm just so sad that they are discontinuing the shows at the end of August. My younger niece was too young to be let in, and is going to miss out now.

Well, I'm glad I went ahead and cancelled the AG trip yesterday. Took DD to the Dr. this morning and she has strep. So, definitely in need of some antibiotics. I'm just glad it was something treatable. I hate it when you go to the doctor and they tell you it's a virus and that it will run it's course in a few days!

Now to find a new date....

So, who thinks that I should book the parasailing from the Contemporary Resort for my DH for Father's Day?

Sounds dangerous but fun! He's way braver than me.

I posted this before, but can you believe that aren't going to let us take our own bikes to the BWV? The man on the phone at the resort said, "We don't allow you to bring your own bikes. We rent bikes." Uh, how are they going to STOP us? We're leaving them home none the less but I'm perplexed on the whole deal.

Today I am calling to see if they offer any Photopass pics at Vero.

I wouldn't do the parasailing thing, but if you think DH will LOVE it book it. Is this for this trip or August. I heard the views are pretty amazing!

I think parasailing would be cool! If you think he'd like it, I say go for it! My DH probably wouldn't like it, but then again, he doesn't like roller coasters either!

Well, the one good thing about DD being sick is that I've got lots of time to spend on the computer. I haven't had a lot of time lately, but over the weekend, I pretty much cleaned my entire house, so there's not much else to do while she's lying around. I'm hoping she'll feel a bit better today. She's still in bed (at 9:15), which is strange for her, but I hope it means she's working on getting better. I may have to wake her soon for her meds though!

My DH is going to be SO EXCITED! I booked it on the phone (you can call Contemporary Resort directly...) for the third day of our trip. That's the day of their Segway tour, if you read my PTR! We took the last appt. of the day. That's 3:30 pm, in case anyone wants to know that for their own knowledge. I recieved a discount of $9 for being a DVC member! Yay!

I can't wait till Sunday to give him his gift and see what he says!
