i have lived in S florida my entire life and never below Key Largo

I thought about the western, but I really like the eastern and sea days

We booked the Eastern for this May using our DVC points and we rebooked onboard for the EB transatlantic which has about 6 or 7 sea days! We have been bitten by the DCL bug.

On our first sea day we went to a cooking at sea demo, Palo brunch, a martini tasting, and just enjoyed the ship.

Then we changed and headed to the martini tasting ~ Loved the pomegranate martini

Then we got ready for dinner, it was semi formal night and headed to the Golden Mickey's show ~ I love this show, so cute!

I know nothing about Disney cruises- I have only been on one cruise in total. What is the Golden Mickey show?

And is a Disney cruise much better than a regular one like Royal Carribbean?

Golden Mickeys is one of the nightly productions they put on. It is so cute and about giving awards to different Disney movies. It is our favorite one.

I think Disney cruises are so much better. I have only been on one other cruise to Alaska on Princess and I have vowed to only sail Disney from now because we had such a wonderful time on our honeymoon.

The blond wasn't our server... we had a gentleman, I can't remember his name but the brunch was just fantastic. We really had a wonderful time!

brunch is a MUST..we had one on the 2nd CC day of our B2B..some people actually wanted to go to CC instead!!! Blasphemy!!

I am partial to Palo..we had our reception in the Palo Room and our server from 2005 Marco was the manager..love him!

Key west looks like it was a lot of fun. I've always wanted to go there. That's funny that you live so close and have never been before. That's like I have lived in Michigan my whole life, but only went to our Upper Peninsula like 4 years ago. Although, there isn't much there except for trees and snow in the winter Looks like you had a great day at sea; we went on the 4 day cruise, so never got to enjoy the ship that much.

That is blasphemy lol! I loved the food so much, yummmm, chicken parm!

Palo is such a beautiful location for a reception, I am trying to con... I mean convince Robert into a Disney cruise line vow renewal in the future!

Some of them did look strange, we had a good time guessing what they were!

I think when you live so close to a place you always think "Well we can go there anytime" so you don't go. We are glad to have been but are trying the Eastern next time to see different places. Our first cruise was a 4 day cruise and we enjoyed this one so much more, you really get a chance to enjoy the ship and the ports.

We mostly took the WB because of timing with the wedding. We thought it would be silly to drive home and then drive back the very next week for the EB. We had an AMAZING time in Cozumel though, we went snorkeling in under water caves and it was so cool!

A 10 yr vow renewal at the WP sounds wonderful!!

I haven't posted but I have been looking through your TR. Your wedding was gorgeous! It sounds like you had a great time and a wonderful experience. You and your DH look very happy! I have never been on a cruise and probably never will (DF gets seasick) but it looks like a lot of fun.

Also, that chocolate martini looks so good!

I was thinking the same thing. I was trying to figure out where that was. I like how your veil was draped over the bench. Very pretty!
