I picked DH up from golfing and we headed to Disney Springs we did a little shopping then went to Art Smith’s. DH had the smothered chicken with mashed and broccoli and I had the skirt steak special with mashed and asparagus. I wanted to get something other than chicken so we could share. His was delicious!! Mine was ok. I’ll stick with the chicken from now on. I had the peach sangria… so yummy and DH had the Lamborghini ( 2 kinds of moonshine)
If you’re ever here ask if Jada is working. She was the best!!! She was chatting with us for a while and always checking in. She was one of the best servers we’ve had anywhere. It was an early dinner so not very busy either.

Had dinner at the Mill St Grill in Staunton, VA. We shared a Greek salad and veggies alfredo. Both were very good and service was excellent.

I had some eggs that needed to be hard boiled so I made egg salad. I kept one out and put it in a regular tossed salad for myself and then DH had an egg salad sandwich. Then I had some of the egg salad with saltines.

@LoveDaisy I know what you mean about weeks that don't stop, BTDT. Hang in there!

Last night was one-pot mac and cheese. Not my favorite but I wanted something cheesy and easy, so this worked. We also used up a bag of chicken nuggets from Trader Joe's. The Little Guy was here for dinner and overnight (school vacation week) and he cheered when I told him what dinner was! We also had green beans for a smidge of health!

Not sure about tonight. We leave Saturday morning for 4 days for a funeral (in Florida, wehre it'll be in the mid-50s to mid-60s... I was SO hoping for really nice, warm weather) so will work on leftover quiche, leftover mac-n-cheese, so I don't have to throw stuff out before we leave.

We’re having a big lunch at Steakhouse 71. We shared the wedge salad app and cocktail shrimp. I’m having the stack burger with fries. DH is having the gourmet grilled cheese.
