Come to the Most Magical Place on Earth for a Special Disney Holiday Gathering -- "The Mega Mouse Meet"

During the week of November 30 - December 8, 2003, Disney Internet Fans from around the world will gather to meet each other and enjoy the Magic that is Disney. During the week there will be attraction meets, IllumiNations boat rides, dining gatherings and much more. Unless noted, all events are free and open to Disney fans of all ages!

The focal point of the weekend will be at 1:00pm on Saturday December 6th, the Mega Mouse Meet at the Copa Banana room at the WDW Dolphin Hotel! This is an opportunity for Disney fans to meet some of the unofficial website founders, internet community leaders and guide book authors!

Thanks for the info, Deb, and for all the great info your site provides for so many of us here! The Mega Mouse Meet sounds wonderful. :)

Do you need a Town Crier???

Don't know if I'll be able to swing a 3rd solo trip this December. I've been thinking about this Mega meet since I heard about it shortly after RADP 007. I'll have to wait and see if I can get away for a few days in December.

Who knows. Maybe the weather will cooperate and I'll finally get to meet you Deb. :)

Thank you for posting here, Ms. Deb Wills. I signed up a long time ago and I can't wait to go.

God bless you, best wishes, and encouragement, RaySharpton:)

<font color=navy>Sounds like a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make a December trip to the World for another 4 years (when my little one graduates high school)

Sounds good except for one thing. The days choosen for each park are not the same days as the days those parks have interpreting. You do have a few deaf and hard of hearing internet Disney fans and you have effectively shut us out.

Good point Lisa. Perhaps you should send Deb an email with your concerns. I don't know if it's too late to shuffle the plans for this years Mega Meet.

Oh my Lisa. I had no idea!! These have been the RADP meet park days for the last 4 -5 years and no one has ever raised the issue.

I know there are already many meets planned by several communities based on the park days. It is probably too late to change them for this year. I will, however, make sure the committee is aware of this and we will certainly keep it in mind for next year.

First and foremost..... Deb, I want to thank you for taking this on... this is one terrific undertaking....and we do appreciate your efforts... As with all special events, it takes time to smooth out all the edges. In the future, I know your hardworking committee will look into all aspects of handling needs of all participants in this great event.. Thanks again for your efforts.......

Thanks Deb. Already made plans to come down that week.We got lucky that its mousefeast that week!! See you there..

Thanks Deb. I know there are probably not many deaf and hard of hearing internet Disney fans but probably more than we are aware of since this group are big users of internet technology. Hopefully things will change next year and I will able to participate especially since my school load will be finished and my schedule will be freer.

I am all so on WDW Magic and we are going to meet at
Mickey Very Merry Christmas Party 7PM. WE are haveing
shirts mad up so we will stand out so if your there and
you see a big man with a WDW Magic shirt on come and
say Hi I will not bite I will be on a ECV I would love to meet
people from here.

:D

Wowsers! Deb Wills herself, right here on the DIS. :teeth: One of my very favorite cyberchicks!!!

I'm planning to be there, and I'm really looking forward to meeting lots of my 'net buddies. (From the DIS and from an earlier life on RADP!)

I am coming from 11/30-12/7 and will be staying at POR with a 4 yr old. We chose this time because we thought the crowds would be low. It sounds like it might be pretty crowded the 1st week of December this year. Do you think we should change to a November date to avoid crowds? If anyone went the 1st week of December last year, was it crowded then?

To Kurgan4 I have been going to WDW the second week
in Dec and the crowds are not that bad. I have been to
WDW in the middle of Nov and there was larg crowds so I
started going on the second week in Dec I love this time
to me its the best.

:D

We'll be on the 11/30 cruise and just found out this is some big Mouse Meet! :)
Do I need to do anything special to join in on the festivities? Or is my being on the ship enough to take part in all the fun (other than regular DCL fun, of course?)
TIA!
