Meg your guest book came out awesome! I'm so jealous! I love your floral plans too, everything is going to look great!

Hey Meg! Love the guest book, for a pen you could get "photo markers" from Walgreens. They are a few bucks each and come in silver and gold and you can write on photos with them (and anything else too). I used them for signing X-mas photo cards this year and they are great! Just a thought, but may be worth checking it out:goodvibes

Oh and I was going to ask you, did you get a BEO for your food/drink yet? I was curious to see an ADH buffet :)

Meg your floral sounds like its going to be beautiful!!!!! :goodvibes

Now you need to get married so we can see pics! I think its a good thing to cut the Magic Kingdom shoot. I really wasn't impressed at all and it sucked waking up that morning. Sure you get to be in the park with nobody there but to me its not worth the $1,000.00.

Meg I think you made some good decisions on what to cut. I've said it before and I'll say it again, my biggest regret is wasting too much money on food. Your guests will have plenty to eat without the crab cakes :thumbsup2

You also know my feelings on Disney photography so I think nothing will be missed with the lack of an MK photoshoot :thumbsup2 You can always stalk photopass at MK one night and try and get some cute pictures of your two in your bride/groom ears in front of the castle.

Finally, I don't know if I've said it...but your Roots pictures are Amaaaaaaaazing. The Roots are genius. Anyone can buy a DSLR and Photoshop actions...but I love how they snap the picture at the perfect time. The expressions and movement they captured in you and Rob is perfect. I especially love the Atlantic Dance Hall pics.

I love the guestbook too! :lovestruc

Hi Meg

You looked gorgeous at the trial. I think you should leave your earrings in if it feels more like you. There's no reason to change into someone else for the day. If you want it to be less noticeable, you could choose very small studs (like for babies, that size) and choose all pearls or all "diamond" studs or something like that. But, if you want blue Mickeys, it's your day! :)

I also think your floral budget looks awesome. It seems like you're getting a lot for the price. :)

Thanks Lulu! :)I'm on the hunt for earrings to try it out! I'm looking at the small type of studs that you would get at Claire's in like the 9 pack of earrings. I think it will work! :goodvibes

I love your guest book! We paid for one, too, but they forgot about it (and we forgot to bug them!). It's really disappointing now that I see how great yours is!

The budget looks pretty good!! :thumbsup2

Can't wait for pictures of the dress. And PS awesome Roots photos. It makes me so jealous!!!

Your floral sounds so pretty; can't wait to see it!

I miss so much when I'm gone! Everything is coming together so wonderfully! I def. think you should keep your earrings in...it's you and it's your (and Rob's) day, so who cares what other people say?! I can't wait to see pictures!!

Meg your guest book came out awesome! I'm so jealous! I love your floral plans too, everything is going to look great!

Thanks for posting your floral budget! :thumbsup2 It looks great Meg!

Thanks everyone!!!

Thanks Toni! I'm not a morning person, so I was almost dreading getting up that early to get ready. Some people have gotten some beautiful shots, but I had a feeling that the bags under my eyes from not sleeping would keep me from being one of them! :rotfl:

You know that's exactly what we're going to do - like the night we go to Wishes. We'll wear something nice and get some photopass pictures. :thumbsup2 Rob and I are also working on posing for the DP pictures. We're still expecting something to erupt out of his head, but we'll work it!:yay:

The Roots really are amazing. They got the best of us in those pictures. I'm bummed with the no outside photography rule at the DP!!

Oh and we're now at 98 days! DOUBLE DIGITS!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Hi Meg! I apologize for my absence on your PJ recently. I've been vacationing from work which means I've been staying away from the computer!

Your floral budget came out pretty well and your food sounds delicious! I'm so excited for you! You're so close... double digits lady!!!! :cool1: When do you arrive in FL for your wedding?

Vacation! Lucky duck! :goodvibes Details!!

We arrive on October 8th for the wedding. Which I'm even excited about! Better than Ezra is playing in EPCOT on the 8th, so I'm totally dragging Rob to that. :thumbsup2

I had a minor crisis this morning! For the past month, Rob and I have been deciding where to eat for our ADRs. We even made a spiffy handy dandy spreadsheet for them. I completely overslept for everything today, and I also completely forgot to call WDW Dine when I woke up. I had visions of getting no reservations when I finally remembered what today was!

And the worst part is that I'm wearing my 2009 WDW T-Shirt today! I'm uber oblivious!

So without further ado.. (what is ado anyway?!)

The ADRs

October 11th - Ohana's - 5:30 (Rehearsal Dinner

October 13th - Tutto Italia 12pm, Garden Grill 6:40pm

October 14th - Rainforest Cafe Animal Kingdom - 1pm, Jiko 6:20pm

October 15th - Kona 9:30am, Crystal Palace 1:45pm

October 17th - San Angel Inn 12:20pm, LeCellier 5:15pm

October 18th - Rose and Crown 12:05pm, Coral Reef 6:30pm

We're still waiting to be able to do our ressies for the 19th! I asked and we've been told to call back for that day on the 21st of this month, and then we're going to do Nine Dragons for lunch and 50's Prime Time for dinner as we're going to Fantasmic that night!

So what do you think??

In other news, I ordered the CD labels for our cds. They aren't cheap - something like 58.00 for 50 of them. I've already burnt the CDs and have ordered the CD envelopes from Ebay (100 for 4.99 and free shipping!). So I figure this CD project has eaten about 80.00. Which isn't horrible if you look at it per CD (1.60 per CD!) We ordered them from myweddinglabels.com - here's the proof that they sent us:

I've also got my table names done. Rob really didn't want to just use Cape Cod towns because we're really New Englanders (I'm Massachusettsian, he's from New Hampshire, and we live in Maine). We have 6 tables so we spent some time coming up with alternate ideas. We had great ideas... that were all promptly veto'ed by the other party. One idea was to name the tables each a different state, but we figured people would sit at the state they're from, regardless of where we wanted them to sit!

So we kept thinking. Luckily DIS was able to observe this thinking and has provided me with illustrations!:idea:

Because I hate ado (or adieu in french)...

We've named the tables...

Mayflower
Purple Lilac
Mountain Laurel
Tassel
Red Clover
and Violet

The New England State Flowers!! :flower3: So we're getting more of that New England I want in our wedding. I printed pictures of them at work :rolleyes1 and went to buy frames. I braved a trip to Wallyworld (which I hate with a passion otherwise reserved only for the NY Giants), and the cheapest frame I liked was 12.00, which isn't much except you're looking at 6 frames - 72 dollars?!

So I went to my local surplus store and looked. I found frames I liked much better and I got them for 2.99 each! 18.00! Much better. I took some pictures of them, and they didn't come out all that well. I'll post my favorite - Mayflower - the Massachusetts state flower and it will least give you an idea of what they look like until I get around to taking an actual picture.

On the back, I'm posting facts about the flower, but I haven't gotten around to taking a picture of that yet either!

Well that just about does it for now. I'm almost at the 3 month mark, and I'm sure I'll post on the 12th about that!

Peace :hippie:, Love , and Go RED SOX! :cheer2:

-ME!

So, I am a total lurker on these Boards but decided to come out of hiding.

I just wanted to say that I think your CD covers turned out really nice, and I love what you guys are doing for the table names! Its original, but still a bit of that personal touch! I definitely like the idea of having the information on the back also :goodvibes

Every time either DF or I come up with an idea for table names the other one shoots it straight down! :lmao: Luckily we still have a bit of time. ;)

Joining in! I haven't read through your whole PJ yet (I can't see the pictures at work :sad2:) I had to come take a look after seeing your engagement pictures, that are beautiful, we tried to book the Roots for a honeymoon shoot in Jan, but they have a tentative Toyko Disney wedding.

I love your story, soo cute. I can't wait to read through everything tonight and see the pics!

Wicked clever idea for the table names, and they came out great! I love the cd labels too...I can't believe they charge that much though!

Your cd lables and table numbers are very cute!!! My family is taking a family vacation in October and I talked them in to DISNEY!!! We will be there the 6-10

Hi! It feels like its been forever and soo much of your planning is coming together. I wanted to say that I like the earring in for your wedding. It's best to do what makes you feel most comfortable and you want to make it as personal to you as possible. I can't wait to see your floral I know it will be beautiful and me and mike ended up cutting the MK shoot too. They offered to let us do it but DH said it was a waste of money. I think it would be cool but a little to far out of our price range.

Your ADR's are great! Just looking at them makes me hungry! And your CD is great. I actually borrowed the Idea from you to do them at our wedding and they were a big hit!

Love the table names and it will definetly give it that new englad feel too!

Ok so that's all for now! DH is rushing me off the computer I guess cuz I've been on the DIS too long. Who knew there was such a thing? :confused3

Happy planning and GO SOX!!!

Cool idea Meg! Love that you incorporated the mayflower! When is your MA week btw, we need to make some plans girly!

Oh, and HAPPY 3 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:banana::banana::banana:

Yay for coming out of Lurkdom! And thank you for all your kind words! :goodvibes Good luck with table names, it was really the one thing that DF and I couldn't see eye to eye on! I should post the suggestions that we were going back and forth on! It would provide great comic relief! ;)

Good luck with all your plans!!

Thanks muchly! I hope you like everything, including the brief periods of insanity that take over my PJ from time to time! That's too bad about the Roots :sad2:- they're really becoming world travelers.

I see you're getting married in Puerto Rico! I'll have to stop by your PJ and read your plans! My family is from Puerto Rico, so I'm interested to hear about everything!! :goodvibes

Wicked clever idea for the table names, and they came out great! I love the cd labels too...I can't believe they charge that much though!

I know! I was taken aback by the prices, but if I had done it by myself I would have had to buy a color printer and the supplies and then most likely a ink refill. It would be alot more than what I paid. But if I had had a printer that was capable (I have a laser printer that only does black printing) I would have done it myself. When I get them in, I'll post back about how they came out and if they were worth it!!:upsidedow

Hey Ashley!! YAY for October in Disney!! :cool1: We'll be there the 8-10th - we might run into you! I'll be checking in on your TR - I saw it on the other board!!

What a cute idea for table names!

and Yay for the CDs and ADRs and double digits :cool1::cool1:
Thanks Joanna!! :goodvibes

Cute table name ideas!

Thanks Sam!!:goodvibes

Hey Ash!! Welcome back chica!! Your wedding was beautiful, and if you've read your PJ - I sobbed all the way through it! :rotfl:How is your leg??

I'm glad you agree with the MK shoot - I went back and forth on it, but I think we made the right decision. :thumbsup2 (Go Sox!! :cheer2: How about that Wakefield?!)

Cool idea Meg! Love that you incorporated the mayflower! When is your MA week btw, we need to make some plans girly!

Oh, and HAPPY 3 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:banana::banana::banana:
Sam! My MA week (or now 5 days) is the 25th-30th of this month! I'm bummed my vacation got cut short :guilty: But I'm still definitely planning a meetup with you - I'll message you on Facebook - I don't know how your work schedule is with your new dance studio, but how would the 28th or 29th work?? Chat soon!! :goodvibes

I have nothing really to update on today.... just wanted to say...

90 DAYS - 3 MONTHS LEFT!!!

That is all you may go back to your normal planning lives now LOL! :goodvibes

YAY!!!!!!

My 90 mark is coming up on Thursday!!!!!!! I'm just starting to realize how much I still need to do! ACK!

Quick question - I read that you made your ADR's - did you call and make them over the phone or do the online reservations? I just tried to do the online reservations and it wouldn't let me do it even though I know that we are more than 90 days + 10 out. Just wondering! :)
