Meeting Mickey

Can someone tell me exactly how we can meet Mickey in Toontown? I have read you meet him after touring his house, in the Judge's tent and at the Toontown Hall of Fame. Are these all connected or is only one correct?

Walk through his house, then go out back and there are BIG signs that say meet Mickey this way. I think it is in the judges tent. They let you in in groups
